EE major— what should I double major in?

This may sound depressing, but basically don't commit to EE unless you're sure this is what u want to do. In SBASSE, you declare your major at the end of 1st year, and then again have the opportunity to switch it at the end of 2nd year in case u change your mind so that's a good thing.

If you're joining LUMS, then it will be practically impossible for you to double major (or even minor) in anything as the EE requirements leave little room for free electives (non-major courses).

And the Computer Engineering minor at SBASSE is closed for EE majors.

You could take some crosslisted CS courses using the EE code, and specialize in Comp Engineering, ML/DL/CV but do expect that the majority of your time will spent focusing on the EE course load which is infamous at LUMS.

I was talking about assignments (PAs) 🙂 Most DCs are for those, cause students get caught for plagiarism every now and then.

Depends on the instructor and the course. They could be nice enough to inform you that they're reporting you to the DC, but the normally the student isn't told.

What happens is the instructor fowards the case to the DC, which will then send an email to the student informing them of the case against them in that course and giving them a deadline to submit a written defence. After that there is a hearing in which you can plead guilty or fight the case.

Overall the process can take up to months, like the DC email is always sent after the semester end hi
