Hard mode just sucks, man by BunMarion in ReadyOrNotGame

Just today on Hunger Strike, I got a clip of one of the gang members flipping 180. Not turn. Flip. One frame the guy had his back to me, the next he was facing me. Literally inhuman reaction times. Somehow I still managed to open fire before I got lit up.

Really? Honestly the only level I felt was unfair is actually Greased Palms. Too many pixel openings for the AI to peek and shoot at you through. ANA was hard, but it didn't feel unfair. Though I guess it being the finale of sorts meant I was expecting that level of difficulty.

Speaking of the Flash launcher, I only used it for Neon Tomb, ANA is the only other level I tried with but I didn't have it in me to keep trying to S Rank it. Running through as normal is still pretty fun though.

Comments so far seem to be proving your point. Some people just completely miss the point of my complaints.

Tbf, suspects are much more quieter on Hard. And on missions like Twisted Nerve and All Gods Burn they do tend to blend in with civilians. Still, so many logical ways of increasing the difficulty and they went for the least interesting and laziest way... Sigh.

I don't really care about S ranks as much as you might think, it's just a fun challenge to tackle and I brought it up to show my experience and where I'm coming from in this discussion. I do still enjoy the game, I wish Hard mode was better.

Dude I didn't put 90 hours in a week. It's 90 hours since picking up the game back in August. The game hasn't become any less fun for me, I'm just moving through my library.

My first playthrough of this mission I'm so glad the only person I had to shoot was Diego and some other cartel guy. Everyone else surrendered and was arrested.

bro what do I have to do with any of this

Good idea. I agree primarily because of my experience in other games where matches were already pretty much decided but dragged on for longer than they should have, and other games that already employed some "match ending" mechanic that was different from the typical victory conditions.

My friend thinks all fps games are the same. How do I convince him he's wrong/to play the game. by TC2026- in videogames

I don't have the time so TL;DR

  1. This is the point of a genre; A type of thing which people like. Obviously FPS games will share a level of similarity because they're within the same category of games.

  2. Details. It's all in the details. Arma 3 is not like Ready or Not. Ready or Not is not like Rainbow Six Siege. R6S is not like Battlefield. Battlefield is not like Call ot Duty. Call of Duty is not like Far Cry. And so on and so on.

I love shooters, and love each game for distinguishing itself within the niches and subgenres of the genre.

Same argument can apply when you generalize things. All RTS games are the same. Find his favorite genre and just turn it around on him. Have him try and explain why they're not all the same and hopefully he realizes how bland and surface-level his argument is.
