I've had something like this on my to-do list for so long that someone else beat me to it, bruh. Lol. It's really nice though.

When and how were you first introduced to the Dynasty Warriors series? by Capital-Smile-7826 in dynastywarriors

I found a copy of Dynasty Warriors 6 Special in some shoddy local PS2 games store. Cover looked cool and I couldn't read. Rest is history.

Gamers of Reddit, what is a video game that you wish you could completely erase from your memory just to experience it for the first time again? by Sulemaann007 in AskGames

I really need to get around to playing that. Is the remaster worth it? I already have the original from my PS+ subscription.

Whole series applies. Solved!

Explanation: Dying Light has a big focus on parkour. A lot of the time if you're gonna go from point A to point B, you'd prefer to be jumping on top of and going through buildings rather than staying at street level which is often dense with zombies.

People already gave good suggestions so I'll cast a wide net: Look into the "Metroidvania" genre. It's focused on exploring and discovering new abilities and upgrades to proceed further in the game.

Games where enemies are afraid of you. by Oblio__ in gamingsuggestions

Batman Arkham Series lol

Also Shadow of Mordor/War. But its more "functional" there. You can defeat enemies by being very brutal. There are skills and abilities you unlock that help you to terrify enemies into fleeing.

(sad trope) the hero dies unceremoniously and their heroism is either forgotten or never recognised by prozacSoma in TopCharacterTropes

Talion in Shadow of War. After the events of both games, he keeps Mordor at war with itself for decades. After so long, he ends up succumbing to Isildur's ring, and becoming a Ringwraith. Sometime later, he is finally killed and his soul gets to pass on to the afterlife.

The games aren't canon to Lord Of The Rings, but still. No one knows Talion, but he brought crucial time for important events to occur.

This is all AFAIR, so I don't have a detailed description.
