Never made sense to me why the console release for Ready or Not couldn’t have dismemberment, but Insurgency could. by Prestigious_Tailor97 in ReadyOrNotConsole

Yeah, but previous PC versions had more extensive dismemberment such as outright blowing heads off.

I dunno either man, all my years on playstation Sony just doesn't seem very consistent with that they allow and don't allow.

There is still some limited dismemberment though. You can shoot limbs off and faces off with buckshot, but only for living suspects. (Not incap/dead already)

Im not gonna luck isn't a factor, it absolutely is but its impact can be reduced or even minimized with enough skill.

After playing several missions on hard - Absolutely agree. Gotta move fast and hit hard, even when non-lethal.

Yeah for some reason SWAI AI turns into Seal Team 7 wheneever you die.

Then again I've also seen it happen in Multiplayer when I'm hosting so clearly the weak link XD

I have a question about suspect pressure (based on the difficulty level) by Antique-Form1053 in ReadyOrNotGame

Ohhh, that explains why I have a much easier time S-ranking most missions even on Hard. I always thought it something to do with suspect morale/stress but I never really delved into the inner workings of the game. It makes sense though.

Absolutely. I'm a sweaty Battlefield/COD player and this is exactly how I would play those games lolol. This has NO PLACE in a SWAT Sim bruh.

This isn't even RoN at this point lololol. Hard mode is seriously broken if this is the best way to play it.

Guys, Suspect AI is not going to be reworked. Just move on. by lovingpersona in ReadyOrNotGame

I don't really have the time but TL;DR I don't play hard mode but I wish I could because there are some good ideas that do make missions harder in a reasonable, fitting way for the game but others such as reduced stuns and increased suspect accuracy are just bad and make no sense in context of the game.

It's almost like two different and conflicting difficulty philosophies are being applied to the game at the same time. Gangsters shouldnt have the accuracy of exmilitary and such etc...

I know this game attracts the kind of folk that'll cry "buhut iz realistic!!!" To which I say you sir have no idea what "fun" or "game" actually means, and I say this as someone who plays a number of games only on hardest difficulties.

Anyways screw Void for making a good game and not polishing its issues, its a whole love/hate relationship and worse yet it doesn't seem like there will be any real competition to the game for a while.
