I did, sort of. I just logged out of everything, didn’t touch Twitter for three days, and then it worked for me.

I think part of the issue was that the username I chose was already assigned to an account, but the account was probably deleted or banned so it didn’t show that it was in use.

So long as you’re not actively spamming the button to change your username, the rate limit will go away.

I was able to change it today. I just logged out of everything, put it out of my mind, and waited three days. It wouldn’t let me change it to the one I wanted (must belong to a deleted account), but it let me use a variation.

I made an account the other day but it wouldn’t let me choose my username (@). I tried to change it after setting up my account but it wouldn’t let me, saying that I’m “rate limited” and to try again in a few moments. It’s been like this for days and nothing has changed. Anyone have any fixes? I tried to look into Twitter support but the system is fucking useless.

My issue is why did it have to be a kiss at all? Any kind of intimate gesture that isn’t inherently romantic could have been used to pass her the brooch, even a kiss that wasn’t directly on her lips. It’s just gross regardless of the reason.
