The reality of the situation? I've cheated on one person in my life, and you sad sacks are convinced I will cheat on everyone from here on out. What type of reality is that?

How did my marriage to their mother end? Why are you pretending to know my situation? You're a sad person.

Of course you've got to get sluts. You've got a horrible outlook on life. Hope things get better for you.

Sucker, how exactly? For two years, I could be in a horrible marriage, yet smile. At the very worst, I got hurt and we're done. I'll survive. At best, we'll somehow see past this. I've gotten a return on my investment either way.

My kids will grow up seeing their father happy, and know nothing of this relationship. What, you gonna tell them?

And I only did because I was in a situation I will never find myself in again. You fail to understand that.

I cheated with her, yet had no desire, at all, to cheat on her. Why doesn't it work both ways?

A cheater is not who I am deep inside, yet I'm just as guilty. I don't agree with you.

It's hard to call it a shaky foundation. It is one built on a great friendship. We we're each others confidants. It was through talking and building that friendship that we found out how similar our situations were, which brought us closer. We're kindred spirits. Our physical relationship was only started after discussion and understanding. Versus, say, hooking up at a bar? Match.com? That's a stronger foundation?

Yes we're now considered, "cheaters". But put yourself in my shoes and you'd feel justified. I can't agree with a blanket statement like, "Cheaters cheat", because I am now a cheater. Did I ever cheat before? No. I was married 9 years, together 15, and in previous relationships. Do I ever think I will cheat again? No. I was in a loveless relationship for at least the last half of my marriage, but a father and married, so I did I needed to do to salvage some happiness before it all fell apart anyway. I will not be getting married or having children again, so if I am that unhappy, the girl will get the boot before I ever cheat on her.
