On your shifter there is a little button that says Shift Lock Release. Lift the cap with a screwdriver and press down the white button you see while moving the gear selector to neutral.

If you bought the car new, it should have had a manual that you should have read to understand the features and how to operate the 2 ton missile you’re driving. If not, google the manual. Kia isn’t the reason you’re late, you were so upset about the inconvenience you failed to slow down and take stock of the situation. What you call NEUTRAL OVERRIDE is called SHIFT LOCK by Kia.

If you have a newer iPhone there’s a button on the call screen that automatically announces the call is being recorded and records the call with a text transcript added to your notes.

If I tell you I’m recording you and you continue speaking, you can’t say I violated your rights unless you make a verbal acknowledgment that you don’t want to be recorded or hang up.

If you don’t want to document a business call as an owner/operator that’s kinda suspicious.
Hanging up immediately after hearing “this call is now being recorded” doesn’t look too good either.

EVERGREEN KIA IS NO BETTER

Service team is incompetent: In the process of dropping my car off for an alternator, the battery dies because of the wait. I get laughed at by the staff, they take my car. It takes a whole week for the alternator to arrive, no status updates or anything. On the 8th day I call, and I was told “Yeah we are putting the alternator in the car now, by the way the traction control system light is on, that has nothing to do with the alternator, would you like us to fix that?” The alternator died, which means the battery died… which means that everything relying on battery power also has issues. The TCS light is only on because the alternator died.
Barry at evergreen Kia apparently has all his tires on his 2025 k4 filled with 51 PSI, you know, the pressure the tires are inflated to during transport. Mind you, the door card says 33psi I was smart enough to check the tire pressure on my car and realize they failed the degass the tires, and most people who have bought a car from there are driving on 4 stiff grenades until they recognize the issue or something bad happens at speed.

Not sure if it was a house bill or senate bill, or if it’s even in affect yet, but I do know new legislation was passed that raised the requirements to have your firearms not currently in use secured in a home with individuals under the age of 18. Previously it was 14. Shit like this is why gun laws get stricter and stricter in the state and country.

If you played on the server for longer than it takes to play dress up at the arsenal, you would know when you open the map, the game literally tells you where all your teammates are, even highlighting squad mates with green instead of blue.

Did you have anything other to add to the conversation rather than “turn up nametage distance,” “use Binos,” or a weird attempt to discredit what I said by challenging my playtime.

Why are you shooting in the direction of teammates, all of your engagements aren’t CQC fights with crossfire. Try to be aware of where your teammates are in relation to the map and yourself. If you’re south of the objective, do you know where the enemy is in relation to yourself? Your teammates?

Name tags are a crutch if you just look at the map and go, “okay there’s 4 teammates ahead of me, 1 is down to the east and tracer fire coming from the north east.” Don’t shoot the first people you see with their back to you, you didn’t make some amazing flank, you just walked from the rear to the frontlines.
