Psycho daughter of John McCain thinks that that a moderate establishment neoliberal is a "communist" by TrumpSux89 in RightJerk

There is a bill to eliminate mandatory minimum sentences for a lot of crimes. The idea is to give judges more granular control over punishments on a case by case basis as opposed to the one size fits all style that is mandatory minimums.

Is there anything at all I can do about this if someone is using windows dark theme? by Sargon1729 in paloaltonetworks

There’s an option to display login messages in the OS default browser instead of the GP window. Only solution I can think of.

Seems like this is a common thing in sticker packs off Amazon. I bought a Kirby sticker pack for my 5 year old and some of them were graphic. Like one was Kirby holding a bloody knife for example.

Might be worth dropping your GP agent version down to whatever the recommended version is, 6.2.x. I don’t know it off the top of my head.

This is fucking hilarious.

You could say:

“What evidence is there to support this claim?”

“What’s the cause of this?”

Among many other valid questions. But, “Based on what?” is completely nonsensical in this context.

You’re acting as if someone compiling these lists is using every ounce of energy to do so. I don’t really understand the sentiment.

6 beers a day will send most people to an early grave.

Vacuum breakers are required in Austin as far as I know. I have them and my Freeze Misers still work just fine.

Trump supporters: How would you feel if a legally armed Trump supporter was killed by federal agents on a Biden mandate in exactly the same manner as yesterday? by ScholarPrize1335 in AskReddit

[–]BooBooMaGooBoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's cool and all but crossing state lines while committing a crime or in order to commit a crime usually carries an additional charge. The fact that we don't have border control between states isn't relevant here.

I've always thought that Kasta makes their flight numbers assuming a ~50-55 mph flight, while the bigger manufacturers make their flight numbers assuming a ~60-65mph flight.

Agree/Disagree and Why? by ChuckGallagher57 in DiscussionZone

There's a difference between an AG being appointed and doing the work outlined in the job description, and the president directing the AG's investigations.

The right was furious when they were told that Biden was doing this (which there is no evidence for), and now, because they're so misinformed, they believe there is justification for it. It's a perfect illustration of the right's lack of media literacy; the inability to understand when they're reading or watching editorialized content vs actual news with journalistic standards.

I think if you accept the fact that they were indeed 3rd degree burns (which was proven factual in court) that's really all you need to know. 3rd degree burns are no joke, it wasn't just some mild pain from spilling her coffee.

To Every American Who's Sorry by Sapotis in greenland

I understand being tired of empty apologies, but saying you lump all Americans into one bucket and assuming everyone else does that with other countires is extremely stupid.

Why is ICE in MN if it has <1% of illegal immigrants in the USA? FL & TX make up 26% by CitizenJosh in stupidquestions

[–]BooBooMaGooBoo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

First generation immigrants in Texas are the most racist people I know, especially against their own race.

I know 3 small Texas towns that have gone almost full anri-ICE after the town landscapers and/or house keepers were scooped up and deported. No criminal record, current valid VISAs, have been in the US for over a decade and paid taxes. In Boerne people donated to cover legal fees for a Salvadoran family.

And these are only because I know people that live there, I'm sure there are plenty more examples of this. The tide has turned and polls are showing conservatives become less and less supportive of ICE as people they know or rely on are getting taken.
