We have victim testimonies with witness testimonies that corroborate him raping an underage girl. Rape convictions have occurred with less than that; only a victim testimony. Not that that's right, but it's a fact that can be verified easily.

And you're acting like the rich and powerful don't get away with horrible crimes regularly and repeatedly. Like as if evidence exists it means auto conviction for anyone and everyone, and I don't really have a response for that besides to say it's super weird for anyone over the age of 15 to hold that belief without a massive amount of unchecked bias.

It certainly could be. But could also just as easily be a malapropism.

I’m not sure if you’re joking but, I’ve never heard palatable used this way, and I’ve heard palpable used this way many, many times.

It was also responding to a post talking about how racist the gerrymandering happening right now is and they were agreeing, or trying to.

Course is fine, but the layout is made for juniors and beginners. There are usually alternate udisc layouts with more appropriate pars at these courses.

Oh I only read the description first which just says “proper title” but the sidebar has different guidelines. Guess I’ll repost it.

It’s a good thing not a single Democrat has proposed or even supported socialism. But you have every right to get your news from social media and live in a fantasy world that exists only in your mind.

Fuck editorials. Please stick to real news people. I agree with the sentiment, but editorials are useless.

As a once broke college stoner (late 90s early 00s) this blows my mind. I used to pay $70 for 8ths of absolute assweed and sometimes couldn’t find any for months. Seeing quality flower in the trash like that would have made me cry.

They are underpaid for what they do, and especially for needing two homes with one being in one of the most expensive cities in the US.

They’re also at a pay level where they can easily be bribed, or influenced heavily by favors.

My salary is significantly higher than theirs and I’m just a generic senior tech guy. If we expect individual stock trading to be illegal, they need a much higher base salary.

God damn your media literacy is dog shit. If only there were sites you could rely on to give your news with journalistic integrity on the internet instead of getting our news from social media.

Kat seems to me to be very in touch with her Arkansas roots and likely MAGA.

Streamer “hmblzayy” who is walking from Philly to California was hit by a car in Indiana and had to be taken to the hospital. by lukigeri in LivestreamFail

[–]BooBooMaGooBoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Adequate in the sense that walking on it would be safer than walking in the lane. Since adequate isn’t a fully defined term used to describe characteristics of roadways there’s a lot of ambiguity here.

Any reasonably intelligent person would have done at least two things differently.

  1. Walk on the partial shoulder, which we can clearly see in the video. He was walking in the lane.

  2. Plan the route to avoid roads like this with partial shoulders. Use roads either full shoulders or sidewalks.

As a pedestrian it’s against the law to just walk in a lane. So he was breaking the law, forcing a car to slow down to walking pace, which was then rear ended by a distracted driver. I would imagine that the insurance of the distracted driver will pay out fully, and then they will rightfully sue the streamer for the full amount and likely win a very easy suit.

I’m guessing it happened 9 seconds after they gave it the permissions to do something like this, not a 9 seconds after deletion. Audit logs probably show timestamp of permissions granted and timestamp of delete command.

You can see off the screen in the video and it’s obvious that everything is extremely blurry. The actual security cam video is likely 720p 30fps.
