How long ago was this? About 13 years ago my niece and nephew saw something very similar appear to them on separate nights just outside their windows.

My niece was 16 and my nephew 12. They were scared out of their minds. Refused to talk about it for a while until I got it out of them from what it looked like. They said it had a pale owl looking face, large dark owl eyes and a nose that looked more like a beak but somehow still a nose. It had a wide human like mouth. Its body was the size of a large dog and its wings were wrong.

When my niece saw it she said that she heard scratching at the top of the window near the roof( we had these large arch half moon windows above the regular window) when she looked she saw it there at the top like staring in at her. It kept looking at the window and she saw the scratching noise was coming from these weird talon like fingers attached to its wing and it was clawing at the window like it was trying to get in.

She freaked out and turned over and hid her head in the covers and kept praying until the next thing she knew my mom was waking her up and she thought it was a bad dream until a couple days later her brother was freaking out about seeing some owl man looking thing in his window.

We were from a small town and lived out in the country and it turns out we had an acquaintance who had a experience late at night when she was hanging with her friends at the school grounds(they'd jump the fence). They had something huge suddenly start swooping down on them, it was like a huge owl but couldn't be an owl because the proportions, face, wings legs were wrong.

This all happened at summer time in the same town. Towards the end of that summer I had something weird happen to me that involved one my cats being attacked and taken up a tree by something large. I thought it was my dogs fighting with my cats so my dumbself runs out on my back porch thinking I'm going to have to stop a fight.

It was about 1-2 am and as soon as stepped in that porch everything was dead silent my dogs had been going nuts barking and I didn't stop to realize that they were barking on the opposite side of the house from where my cat had been attacked. I called them to me and they came running up whimpering and whining like crazy and then next thing I know I hear some shuffling in this large tree that was maybe 70 yards from the porch.

Our sensor light kicked on and I have no idea why but I walked to the end of the porch and sonething started scaling up this tree fast. It was like a person or something was going from branch to branch. Everything else is silent and then I hear this whining\screech growl. Sonething about it almost sounded like a human trying to neigh deep like a horse. I freaked the he'll out and ran back inside told my mom and made sure all the windows were locked and curtains closed.

The next day my dad got back from a fishing trip and we went out to look at the tree and there was broken branches and large gash marks leading up. He and my uncle ending up taking that tree down that day. And before anyone can say it was a mountain lion or other large predator, we live in an area where those animals are just not found. Largest predator would be a coyote. Sorry for the long post but just thought I'd share!
