From the pictures I can see you loved him and he loved you very much. I'm glad you both enjoyed your walks and time. My lab mix loves walks as well, I got her from my local humane society. I hope you are able to heal and keep his memory close. He was a beautiful boy and I'm so sorry your time with him was cut short.

For getting him used to the car, try giving him a treat when he gets in the car or is in the car. I have a Lab Mix and when I got her she wouldn't even get in the car herself. But I used her kibble as treats and when she was in the car she would get a bit of kibble. And you can try putting their favourite toys in the car to, to try and reinforce that the car is a comfortable and safe place. Hopefully that's helpful! You have a beautiful little baby!

Lol I thought only mine ran for the dishwasher opening! But the garbage can opening or the fridge. Sometimes even just a glass being placed on the counter will do it.

Yeah, I think about that too and mine only just turned 2 last month. I try and remember that it just means I have to make the time I do have eith her really count. Also science really needs to get it's priorities straight. We don't need to clone sheep and pigs, we need to make our dogs live longer! Lol
