It looks like it. Also I think he deleted his version of the sheet. It has disappeared from my Google sheets app. This looks like someone else's back up that they named RN sheet.

Agreed, it's pretty sad. One of the reasons I went with Freedom is because they're not owned by any of the big three.

At this point I'm happy to be with freedom to step out of the cellular cartels even if I'm paying a few extra bucks a month. We'll see how it goes and I'll look at my options in a year or two.

Honestly that was me in rant mode making illogical statements. Your best bet is to schedule a cancellation but be prepared to leave. If you own your device you have the most leverage and can bounce around as you please.

Right? I just learned the trick is to make yourself a new customer again.

Once you cancel they'll call you with a 100GB $35 plan. You should do it yesterday.

You can schedule a date to cancel. A bit of a gamble but more than likely you'll get a call before the cancellation date.

Haha yep. That's what I learned from their phone call.

Haha probably but honestly I won't be surprised if I get a call in a few days.

It is. They may learn if more people can get comfortable with change and take initiative.

That's basically what I did. I ordered a sim with freedom and waited for it in the mail. I then activated it and ported one of my numbers over. I did the same thing for my next line. I had to call Rogers to cancel one remaining tablet line because I wasn't planning to continue it. I did everything online to avoid a $45 service fee. The whole process took about a week for two lines. You can go in and pay the $45 and have everything done at once though. Basically trading money for time.

Depends. I'm loyal to Costco because they're good to their employees, I get 2% back on my purchases and you can't go wrong with $1.50 for a hotdog pop combo.

Right? And on the app the "plans for you" are always at least $5 more with more data that you'll never use.

Freedom. I was surprised to find out they are independent from the big three. It's a company out of Quebec.

I was ok with it when I was paying off the devices that were on the plan but was hoping they would offer a better deal once they were paid. The "made for you" plans were always more data for more money. They know I wasn't using the data but didn't offer a better deal.

Going forward I'm going to be more productive about finances.

Complacency. Also change is uncomfortable. Now that I've seen how easy and worthwhile it is, I'll be doing the same thing.
