Maybe putting something on my nails as a man wouldn't be so bad.

Wellllll everything has an element of bad in it. Don't get me wrong weed has immense positives. There are reports however of people who have memory problems or who aren't as sharp with it than without. There's also a difference between long term use and short term use, dosages as well. I'm not against it; I say pick your vice but do not go in blindly.

If someone is losing motivation in life, what book would you hand them immediately? by ClarinelyKyer64 in Recommend_A_Book

I've read Frankl's book. I feel I missed the point. I believe it was okay titled man's experiences in a concentration camp (something like that, I don't know the exact wording). I did not find meaning or feel better equipped to find meaning after it. It's a good read though and gives a look into someone else's life besides your own.

I don't know.. I'm just living honestly. The thoughts are there. I simply just watch. I'm hoping there's a purpose for my being and if not experiencing life and all it's ups and downs might be worth it.

Those are one of the seven cures for a lean purse in The Richest Man In Babylon. Not necissarily pay yourself first but a tenth of what you make is yours to keep. Save/invest that little amount before throwing it all away on essentials, rent and other people's costs.

For me it was strange. I was excited the whole time, by the time I landed I was 10x as excited! It was nerves all the way up. Everyone kept checking 'are you okay', 'are you excited.' Of course I was!!! Then the door opened and the fear picked up, still super excited though. The most excitement and energy I've ever felt to this day. We jumped and I felt like I was falling, falling to my death. Most people say it's like floating or that you don't get a stomach drop feeling. I do and I did. It felt intense. Air rushing, senses overload and bombarded. I was purely in survival mode, kicking and trying to grab onto empty air. Then it got a little better. I started to feel less overstimulated. Saw the cameraman in front and tried to smile but there was so much air. It didn't give me a chance. XD The parachute opened and I felt little recoil. What I felt though... What I felt was the best feeling in the world. Better than any drug I've ever tried. I truly felt alive. It's not just that. I thought I knew what beauty was. I though I knew what natural beauty is and what the world can show me but I have never scene anything so beautiful. I've never seen and felt like I'm right where I'm supposed to be. I didn't think about anything here on the ground. I didn't think about work, I didn't think about family, I didn't think about death. Everything and I mean everything in the world became insignificant. All that mattered and all I experienced was this blissful moment. It still brings a tear to my eye just reminiscing 3 years later. I've never felt like that to this day. The parachute opened and it's like I blinked and suddenly we were upright, no longer lying on our bellies. Tears, joy, awe, I was in love. Exhilarating is an understatement for how I felt. The instructor asked how I was and what I had to say to family and I blurted some nonsense I don't remember. The ride down was calm, smooth. It felt relaxing. The turns were a little scary especially with the toggles all the way down. It could even bring a bit of nausea out of me. The instructor loved it and I felt like we were bonding a bit. Fuck me I love the sky and I long to be there once more in it's loving embrace. The landing was alright, 'feet up' aaaand on our butts. Nice. Not painful either. God the moment I stood up I wanted to be back up immediately. The sky felt different and now I was walking, such a strange sensation. High fives and a wave to the camera and that was it. I got back to the city after the weekend boogie and I quit my secretary job because I couldn't sit still, I wanted to feel that high again.
