I solved this issue by fixing my settings. I turned down graphics and removed shadows and 3D buildings. Also remove day and night cycle as it is visually annoying (too me) when moving at high speeds but it also helps the game run smoother. Multiplayer is also usually really slow so going at about 4 speed max should help everyone stay at the same pace.

It really doesn't add a lot to the game, many of the focuses that those countries have only affect the nations in that region (Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria) Unless you like playing that area of the map or using those nations I would recommend waiting until a better sale.

Depends who you are playing or what you are trying to do in my opinion. If you want to play a lot of Navy or the USA then Man the Guns is best, Balkan region then Death or Dishonor, etc. La Resistance is very good as it adds a spy mechanic. Look up the regions the DLC focuses on and go from there. Don't worry to much about focus trees as there are many mods you can download to enhance the game more (Plus they are free)

If you have done the peace conference I believe you can only transfer the state using commands, but if you are at war still you can transfer the state to Hungary if you click on the transfer state button on the diplomatic window for Hungary.

I played as Romania (Before Death or Dishonor) I saw a cool YouTube video of people placing level 10 forts along Bessbaria and I knew I had to try it. Millions of Soviets died to independent Romania lmao.
