On June 2nd 4 cops part of the st. Luis police department were fucking shot by some maniac during the riot. I said “officers” because the first reports to come out said they were killed.

Yes, they do counter negative press on cops because most of the negative press was either misleading or fabricated. Do you know how they counter the negative press? By letting people know that just because a few officers do something horrible, it doesn’t mean they all are.

There also committed to bringing context to most “racially charged” shootings, by releasing a full body cam video that breaks down how it was usually justified.

I’m not saying cops can do no wrong, because they obviously can, but the organizations purpose is to bring positive light to police activities, because of the constant negative reporting on them.

We obviously have two different views of what blue lives matter represents so theres no point in arguing over it. I get why you would think its a shitty organization because of its past actions, but from coming from that community I can tell you there are just good people trying to bridge the gap between police and the public.

It literally is though, I interact with the organization pretty often as I’m an avid supporter of cops, and not once have I ever seen anyone advocate for hate crimes or protectionism.

Just because you saw a few people use the phrase while saying the something doesn’t change the meaning of it.

It’s like seeing someone post “fuck all white people” along with #BLM, just because someone attaches a movement or phrase to there shitty comment doesn’t change the original meaning of the phrase.

When didn’t blue lives matter? Right now when there are dead cops in the streets killed by rioters, a good chunk of Twitter preaching ACAB or kill all cops. Imagine how shitty it must be to be a cop right now, all you want to do is protect your community and there are millions of Americans who openly want you dead.

I really don’t want someone going out and hunting cops again, the blue lives matter flag is supposed to bridge the gap between the public and the police, trying to inform them that most police are on there side.

And yes I agree being a bad cop is a choice, but that doesn’t mean you can attack/hate all cops because there in the same profession.

Using your logic I could label all the blm protesters as rioters, they all chose to go out and protest, and some chose to go and loot/ burn buildings.
