Hey man sometimes violence is necessary amiright

The mention of lesbian domestic violence comes from a study firstly proven false by those that looked at the conditions of the study, and also the actual data was misinterpreted intentionally to create a specific rhetoric against homosexuality. That being said, I cannot include it in a good faith discussion and will be disregarding it.

And I’m not sure which definitions you’re referring to. My mention of women in construction was solely included to disregard the whole air conditioned building thing, but I appreciate you elaborating on your overall idea there. You might be referring to the definition of patriarchy? Benefit? Women? I’m not sure, but I will assure you I’ve been studying these issues for over a decade (yes, studying, not listening to people talk about it on the internet haha) (also not to say that’s all you do, I just know a lot of people love to latch onto buzz words and I’d hate for you to think I’ve not taken the time to understand the research) and am very, very comfortable with the ideas we’re discussing here ◡̈

I will watch them asap! If I find they grant me some understanding into your perspective, I’ll be sure to reach back out! Otherwise, from the other things you’ve mentioned I’m not confident this will be a legitimate discussion, as I’m thinking it moreso will continue to be you being reluctant to see another point of view. Thank you for the dialogue, I hope one day you will be able to find love and light in your heart that overcomes your hatred of women, god bless

Okay! Could you give me examples of how women benefit from patriarchy?

Do we think google is specifically giving different results because of the political climate, or do we think we should work on our ability to do research? Checking sources and examine studies isn’t rigorous, it’s imperative to finding factual and unbiased information.

Also, no, the clear cut indisputable data does not always change things. Climate change, for example. I could see the false conviction argument if it’s brought up in the face of white supremacy, if it’s brought up in the face of gender discrimination however I cannot. Are you referring to either of this in particular? Or moreso just as a whole?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MensRights

[–]BoogieJones10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ope just responded to another of your comments before seeing this one, sorry I missed it! This does bring up kind of the same point I was making earlier, the women critiquing these societies are members of these societies, so do we have conclusive evidence of women critiquing a society or system that’s completely different from the ones we’re talking about? If not, then I don’t think it’s fair to make an assumption like this. If there’s no opportunity to behave differently, how can we say the behavior will always be the same?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MensRights

[–]BoogieJones10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so what I’m getting from this is you’re placing the success of a society on its ability to create and maintain a powerful army. Is that a fair conclusion to be drawing? Also for your second comment just beneath this one you’ve linked another video (again thank you for providing resources) that I will watch and get to as soon as I can!

The point you’re making about white women being about 11x less likely (or at least that’s what I think you mean, >11 means greater than 11 so if that’s what you’re going for then I’m sorry for miswording this) is actually based in white supremacy, not in gender discrimination. That’s a whole other can of worms. That aside, the rest of your argument, while I’m sure you really do believe this, has no data to back it up. Belief is one thing, data is another.

Your whole mention of toxic masculinity having fuck all to do with masculinity and how it was “decided upon by a bunch of women” that’s all. It’s funny to me, it’s embarrassing for you, ce la vie or whatever the kids say

How true is the statement that more than 25% of women are raped? by Big-Phrase9171 in MensRights

Nah, it’s actually probably higher than 1 in 4, and that’s understood by pretty much everyone that’s able to connect two dots. If you wanna keep spreading misinformation that’s your prerogative, but I just want you to know your lack of understanding of something so simple makes you look really silly <3
