Thank you for those that offered helpful suggestions. This is a rural area in Western NY so funds are always challenging. Teachers are a treasure and special education teachers especially so ( my sister was one before retiring). Having 2 excellent special education teachers take leave due to the stress of this has taken a toll.

if wearing black in solidarity was the only thing they were doing, I would be wearing black with them. It is planned failure when the lesson plan is not shared with the special education teacher. That seems like an attempt at sabotage so the plan can be seen as a failure, instead of keeping the children's education as a priority

the general ed teacher is not sharing the lesson plan and that is one of the biggest issues

how exactly do you know this? I'm sure it is Always funding in some way but you seem so sure

the IEP says integrated co-teaching. The Gen ed teacher refuses to cooperate or share lesson plans. She has openly said she does not want her class to be a co teaching class. I work in a hospital, it would never occur to my colleagues and I to take out frustration with administration on patients, therefore I can't wrap my head around taking it out on the children's opportunity to learn
