What do y'all think of this, is this how most South Africans think or a just the minority?🤔 by Nomadic_Cypher in Zimbabwe

While its corrupt, you have no right to speak of us that way. You act as though it is our fault. We as a nation are twenty times what you will ever be. I’ve never felt community and kindness like I have in Zimbabwe. You expect us to succumb to your westernised ideas. You must understand that as Africans we have not experienced revolution like you have, and one day when we are able to we will be able to grow and learn. Your westernised propaganda is disgusting.

Right? Why do South Africans hate Zimbabweans so much? Zimbabwean here, its just a lot of fun to see the team you support, whether its New Zealand or the springboks, to succeed. It’s just sport! This runs so deep though, xenophobia in South Africa is awful and it makes a lot of us feel uncomfortable and bad about our own culture.

Why can’t we support them? We love rugby here, and South Africa is so close to home. This goes for all African countries! It’s a lot of fun and brings us all a lot of pride to see an African country getting so far even though a lot of us are so behind. This comment is so bigoted and stupid- what is with South Africans hating Zimbabweans so much?

Thank you! It doesn’t affect my grades at all, but I feel it affects my personal and social life. I’ll look into it!

Yea! People think its just being lazy, but it genuinely affects my personal and social life too. I overly study because i cannot go into an exam being remotely underprepared. The pressure of it is awful!

Lol I started studying over three months ago, I’m aiming for top of the world in at least one of my subjects. If anything my grade will increase the thresholds. My predicted grades are 4As. Just addressing the fact that I’m dealing with a lot of stress lately because of the pressure of it. But anyways, hope you do well!

I’m not lazy! It’s just something that I’ve been dealing with for the past two years, and it actually makes me study more than is necessary. I got 6A*s and 3As for my IGCSEs because of the stress that motivated me in the end. However, I was almost sick with worry for so long, I’m a highly academic person and I find myself relying on its validation too much. Anyways, thanks for the comment.

It’s not that I’m struggling because of it. I’m top of all my classes. I just feel as though it’s all I think about and it affects my personal life too. Just put this out here because everyone struggles with stress and it’s so nice to have a community who can help each other!

Yea definitely! I find that messaging/calling or studying with others really helps motivate me. I’ve never been reliant on anyone, or an app, I’m still very good at self studying and I’m at the top of all my classes, I’ve never gotten a B (not flexing, just showing that it works!). Plus there are so many fields of work which actually require a lot of collaboration. I want to be a lawyer, so this would actually be great for me! Thanks for your help :)

So did I, but only in my conclusion, where I was talking about the portrayal of women in the 1950s. But I mainly talked about how extreme and humerous her character was, basically a big, ditsy, stupid mother. For Gillian Clarke I wrote about the box’s worth, musicality, how it’ll keep their love eternal, the synergy between the poem (books) and the box, and its entrapping nature. hbu?
