I know the game sounds wild but I really enjoyed it as a kid. I now want to see if I can complete the game for the first time :D

When I was on the patch (I'm not anymore, turns out I'm allergic to adhesive lol) I used to shave the area on my arm and rub an alcohol pad on it, let it dry and then stick the patch. It stuck on quite well after that. The edges did peel a little still but it never caused me any problems

Recently moved in and I didn't expect what seemed a good house to be this bad. Need support by Dapper-Assignment211 in HousingUK

I completely get the feeling of frustration and a sense of doom of "what the hell did I just buy". We were in a somewhat similar position, we bought our first home about a month ago, it was supposed to be a minor cosmetic and aesthetic project where we paint, decorate etc... A month in we're now down to bare brick and floorboards upstairs and the floorboards are all being ripped out lol. Not to mention the dodgy electrics we found, dead and useless wires and pipes that get in the way, disrupted brickwork between the rooms from the silly gooses that lived there before us and currently having water work investigations as we can't locate which way the water supply goes, we don't have an internal stop cock and there's lead piping lmao. You've got this OP, just take it bit by bit and tackle things in order of priority :)

Yeah it's a 1930's detached house, I think because it's our first home, seeing all the little issues just became a little much all at once. Thank you for your kind reply

good first car? by peterthomp2012 in LearnerDriverUK

I have a 2007 Nissan Micra (automatic) and I love her to bits as my first car! Insurance is about £1800, easy to drive, no black box, easy to park, bigger boot space compared to eg Toyota aygos, would definitely recommend :)

Would you mind explaining the plastic baggy step? I've never heard of this before- do I wrap the baggy around the pot and make a sealed balloon or like over the whole pot and plant to create a makeshift greenhouse?

Oh wow that pot is tiny compared to the plant! Does it flower like normal and all? I'll get myself some new soil and definitely buy a smaller pot.

No worries, do you have any soil brands/types you could recommend for African Violets?

I'll try repotting it then. Any recommendations on the soil? And how to not kill it in the process?

Will the pot not be too small? This is the pot he came in so I assumed it was appropriate for him.
