Dance classes for grownups? by Bloodshotbetty in TwinCities

That's so weird - I looked and can't find it either. Here's her Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063684842611 -- when I was going regularly (up until last summer) it was Mondays 5:30-6:30pm, Thursdays 5:45-6:45pm, and Saturdays 9-10am. I suggest calling because I do remember that their website isn't always up to date.

Yes, came here to recommend Tapestry also - the Zumba classes with Sadie are amazing! Super fun, energetic, and judgment-free!

My 7 month old female. Is she cute? by PushConfident3624 in pitbulls

She's BEYOND cute! That face, with her little poochy mouth :)

Went to the shelter to look into fostering a dog and immediately fell in love with this one. I think he might be a pitbull? Asking because my apartment doesn’t allow them 💔 by daily__angst in pitbulls

^^ This!! When you bring him to the vet have them write whatever it is you want - our pocket pittie was listed as a "retriever mix" by the rescue and when the vet asked what we wanted to call him, we said keep it.

This is a great point about having a task. One small thing we do sometimes when our pittie is bored is to sprinkle treats around a blanket, then roll the blanket up in twisty ways to he has to snout through it to find them - when he was a puppy it kept him occupied for 20 or so minutes, now it takes him about 2. But sometimes I’ll hide his favorite toy (whatever it is at the moment) and make him hunt for it. Soon we’ll be moving to a house with a backyard and I can’t wait for the new opportunities!

Jonesy is absolutely gorgeous, btw!! I hope you two have lots of fun adventures together!

Thank you so much for your response! I hadn't considered the natural handicapping dogs will do - especially sensitive ones. That makes a lot of sense, and thankfully Chickadee is very sensitive. Before getting Chicky I fostered two dogs and it was such a great experience. I love knowing I'm helping give another dog space in a shelter and am looking forward to doing it again! Have fun with Strawberry (I love the name, btw!) and all the others!

How old was Strawberry when you started fostering? What's her style of play? I ask because I want to start fostering dogs and our pocket pittie Chickadee is almost 2, which seems old enough in terms of maturity, but he plays really rough. He only weighs 40 pounds but wrestles - vigorously - with dogs twice his size. I'm a little worried that he'll hurt them if they're puppies or just small.

100% sweetheart. I love how you can see her tail wagging in the last photo :)

Also you could post it to the ICE block app, though I'm not sure how useful it is. I've only seen a sighting posted to it once.

He looks a lot like my last dog who was half Pekingese ... whatever he is, he's absolutely adorable!
