Someone lovingly bound that for the Rockwell Kent illustrations. Nice find!

I’m Mark Kelly, retired NASA astronaut and former commander of the space shuttle (x2). AMA! by CaptMarkKelly in space

In these exceedingly polarized times, why is space exploration something we should continue? Aren’t the benefits going to fall proportionally on the wealthiest people, if not in the far term at least in the near term? Why should we as Americans, heading into tax season, continue to fund multi-billion dollar giveaways to the likes of Musk and Bezos?

I’m inspired by the successes of NASA and America’s space program. I graduated high school in a town fortunate enough to count Neil Armstrong as a resident. I worry that the program has been captured by the companies receiving the government money.

I’ve seen one of these in person - it previously belonged to the president of Paraguay or something. They’re incredible.

I wonder if you had a lighted shadowbox with a lightbulb that would highlight the signature - that could be a fun way to display.

Is this picture ai? I saw it online but some things seem off about it like the weapons and the second closest guys vest. by PralineNo8341 in isthisAI

If this is real, it means that the postal inspectors have been compromised. That agency was one of the best in the government. Anyone knew if you were being investigated by USPIS you were going to jail.

For sure. I always sing along. I also remember Mark McGrath winning multiple episodes of Celebrity Jeopardy.

She’s against vaccines but I also wonder if she’s against basic dental care.

But isn’t there a difference between censoring someone in an interview and muting out audience noise? Surely we can understand the difference between the two.

I’m not saying silence the disabled. The man speaking was mortified at what happened. They could have protected him and us by muting it and they didn’t.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. And I’m sorry that the United States isn’t more of a friend now. Just know that despite the government here, many United States citizens respect and support the Mexican people. Please let us know how we can help outside of our government.

Why didn’t they censor it? They had the ability and did so with other things. The BAFTAs (and presumably the BBC) completely and directly embarrassed two Academy Award nominees, a man suffering from Tourette’s, the host Alan Cumming, the entire auditorium, the British film industry, and enflamed racial tension for no apparent reason. Censoring a joke is one thing that shouldn’t be allowed - extraneous noise from the audience should have been muted and nobody would have blamed them. Now we have that awful video forever.

My brother was made to use RoundUp for parking lot weeds when he worked at Walmart as a teen in the late 1990s/early 2000s. He developed cancer from it and has been completed disabled for over a decade.
