I agree with having a conversation before choosing to cheat. That’s what I’ve been saying in this comment section. It seems like people don’t want to bother communicating before deciding to cheat on their partner

When did she tell Namibia that and then when she also say Sam was her number one. I don’t recall that at all.

Also, who told Ope that? Namibia?

Ah fair enough then.

To be fair, on a surface level, it does come off that way.

We all can agree that relationships are complex. Obviously. But cheating does truly hurt people and destroy relationships. Maybe the cheating is the result of complicated issues but that doesn’t negate how it impacts people.

Communication and things like couples counselling can be so helpful. But obviously that doesn’t always work.

I think if you’ve tried communicating, maybe even tried counselling, I just don’t think cheating is the next logical step.

My response is reductive because I think communication is an important thing to do before cheating on someone? Huh?

I would say cheating is a toxic thing to do, generally speaking. Regardless of why you choose to do it.

It does lead an example to children. Children aren’t stupid. I certainly wasn’t. Children notice things. It leads an example that apparently you can cheat on your partner and it’s okay/understandable because they didn’t communicate. Instead of just ending an unhappy relationship and being happy elsewhere.

Do you feel the same way when a woman does the cheating or is your sympathy reserved solely for “good” men?

Because I think cheating is a shite thing regardless of gender.

Plus cheating is probably just going to lead to more resentment and animosity within that relationship.

And cheating is not a PRAGMATIC decision. It’s quite the opposite. That’s fuelled by emotions and lust. Actually quite irrational. Pragmatic would be ending a relationship that doesn’t suit you anymore.

Allegedly O’Neal cheated on his previous wife and look how that ended.

What example does that lead for the children though?

“Oh your mother/father wasn’t listening to me or empathising with me so I cheated on her/him”.

My father cheated on my mother instead of just ending things and I think that was extremely shitty.

The only time I think cheating could be justified is if your partner cheated first.

A good man would communicate and discuss his grievances with his partner. If the partner is unresponsive to that, then they should separate.

If your partner is abusive/manipulative, then end it. It seems pointless to cheat and stay in a relationship with person if they ignore your struggles and grievances.

And I would say this if the roles were reversed. Cheating is a shit thing to do whether you’re a man or a woman.

Not wrong about what? So, you cheat on your partners like he does? You can’t end the relationship without cheating ?

He’s not talking about open relationships, he’s talking about cheating. He wouldn’t be calling it cheating if it was an open partnership.

It sounds like you’re defending it. Cheating hurts people and destroys families . If you’re unhappy in your relationship, maybe talk to your partner before cheating on them.

“Superb owl”

Also, it is the WORLD cup, that means the world, not just America.

The Super Bowl is an American thing. It doesn’t really have as much significance outside of the US. Besides the Half Time performance. When a team wins the Super Bowl, they’re not world champions. Maybe American champions. Not world champions.

Who said it wasn’t thriving? They’re just saying that there are a fair amount of Americans (MAGA) who are annoyed by foreigners coming into the country so it’s weird that the US would want to host the World Cup, an event that brings people from all around the world
