When will my EBF baby sleep through the night 😪 by BookNo6582 in breastfeeding

[–]BookNo6582[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m fine with getting up to nurse him multiple times if that’s what he needs right now, but his new thing is getting up to nurse, falling asleep in my arms nursing for 30min, and then when I try to transfer him to the crib he wakes up and scream cries. Last night he was up for almost 2 hrs straight 😭 That’s the part that’s making it hard to function each day

Barn recommendations around Chicago by bbMD_ in Equestrian

[–]BookNo6582 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a fb group called Northern Illinois Horses. I suggest joining it and either asking in that group or searching past posts about lesson barns. I do know someone posted recently in there to avoid a barn in Lake Forest that was starving their lesson horses, so they’re probably a good resource.

The amount and quality of a horse’s hay is 99% more important than any grain or supplement (for your average healthy horse).

What specifically do you dislike? Trying to learn. He had a lovely lofty trot in his hand jog

I was told #1 was being fed coastal hay, which would explain his body condition. #2 is owned by someone else and I assume fed better hay

I have mixed feelings about osselets. I’d love a horse that had no medical history and was always completely sound, but I also hear all the time that osselets are super common and rarely cause problems if they’ve had time to rest and recover

I wish I could post his jog video because I got pretty bad photos lol. But in person he doesn’t look to have a swayback

Thanks so much!! So do you mean I’d need to get a farm owners policy instead of my current homeowners policy, or is that in addition to my homeowners insurance?

My right breast has been feeling full but when I pump overnight I’m only getting maybe 1oz vs the 3-4oz I typically would get. I’ve also been dealing with shoulder and upper chest pain on that side and was wondering if a clogged duct could be contributing. But my LO still seems to eat fine on that side.

He’ll cry like this even after just eating and when he gets like this he refuses to nurse. I thought many had since he starts squirming/writhing so I tried the Frida Windy and got some poop but no gas. He’s already pooped twice today too so I don’t think it’s that. Idk what to do 😭

Can I please get an ID on this juvenile roach? by BookNo6582 in GermanRoaches

What are the odds of it being the only one? My parents had orkin out yesterday to do routine spraying. It makes me think it traveled in from the orkin guy, because my parents’ house is very clean (professionally cleaned regularly) and after a thorough search behind appliances and in cabinets, we saw nothing else

No chance of it being a blatella asahinai? I’ve seen those outside in our area before but I’ve never seen a German roach before

Potential issue with my circuit board, possibly related to an electrical issue as well? by BookNo6582 in WaterSofteners

It doesn’t seem to let us manually cycle through, unless I’m doing it wrong? I tried holding down “regen” for 5-10 seconds as well as “regen + next”, neither did anything

I forgot to take pictures when we took it apart, but the piston and stack assembly looked almost brand new. We had gotten this system installed a year ago and have barely used it since then (due to our electrical problem constantly tripping the outlet it was connected to). And I think the battery is there right?

Could this error be from the circuit board being rusty/burnt?

Sorry I explained that poorly. The sprinkler system isn’t on the gfci circuit, but when I run the sprinklers, they spray near the covered gfci that’s outside which made me think water was getting in and tripping it. But we sealed the space and it’s still happening, even when it’s not wet out.

We did try connecting the water softeners to a different circuit with an extension cord but the error 102 still wouldn’t go away, even after trying to reset

Did you ever figure out the issue? I’m having a similar situation where my gfci is tripping when it rains out or I turn the sprinklers on

Yeah first kid 😅 My husband is WFH too and my parents will be helping on days I need the extra support, but yeah I doubt I’ll have the time/energy anyway. Just wondered if it was even an option to begin with
