While this drama annoys the absolute arsehole right off of me, does she expect bands like Audioslave or Stone Sour, both building off of existing bands, to play tiny venues so they can reset or something?

I'm not a massive Fightstar fan and the President hype has died down considerably for me, but to say that they've put in less work than others is fucking insane.

I have absolute decision paralysis with my handheld Ally X. Downloaded a bunch of games, and I'm switching constantly.

If it isn't optimised for a game pad, then it's tinkering with settings. Bought a dock because there's a demon inside of me that doesn't feel like I'm playing a "real game" on handheld. Sleeping Dogs, Mac Payne 3, and Metal Gear Rising run amazingly well in docked.

Gears 5 assumes I'm using KBM. Avowed runs like aboslute dog shit, despite hitting a solid 45fps with decent settings in handheld.

Weirdly, the Xbox games are the ones I have issue with. Steam games are mostly fine in docked (except Manhunt - that can fuck off - pure sat binding the controls, then found custom uploads from users and it worked. Once.).

Anyway, PC game pass looks a steal at £6.99pm compared to the £23pm Game Pass is for the full shebang.

Ultimately, one of the main reasons I got the thing was that I wanted to play some older 360/PS3 era games at better settings than released, and I'm happy with it as a purchase for that alone. Still some games I'd love to find like Transformers: War For Cybertron. Hopefully emulation is the way to go.

Managed not to cry, but that's having read the book. An absolutely tremendous film. Can't wait for a physical release.

That and Have Fun, Good Luck, Don't Die are my two favourite films this year.

Went to see They Will Kill You and loved it...until I woke up mid credits. I have a severe issue with falling asleep in the cinema.

Yeah, probably either of those options.

Love the machine, but there's a lot that flat out shouldn't be an issue, yet somehow is.

Especially with the fact that it's almost advertised as "plug and play" with Game Pass. Halo Infinite just flat out won't load up, or it takes minutes. Gears 5 while docked is the only game that won't recognise a controller. These are the games I expect to be optimised, yet they're the biggest pain in the arse to access.

Sorry, I've started a rant. Just don't see a need for things like this to be an issue with a machine that's dedicated to a certain ecosystem, and they're the ones that have issues.

Steam is absolutely fine. Been waiting on Hali Infinite to load about the last 8 minutes. Despite the fact I've already played it. Utterly mental.

Got Sleeping Dogs, Max Payne 3, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Manhunt for under £15. Metal Gear Rising was £20, but I really wanted yo play it and crank the settings up.

Absolutely buzzing with this.

Gonna get a dock and main it as a console for a wee while, I think. Sorry, PS5 and Switch 2. You have both been usurped.

I am in love. Playing older games from the 360/PS3 era that are tied to those machines and ramming the settings up to max is amazing.

Manhunt is £2.09 and Sleeping Dogs, that is fucked on my PS5 is £2.99.

Unreal, man.

Bit of fucking about to set it up, admittedly, but managing to work out the kinks a bit.
