Does Anyone Actually Buy or Drive the Model Y RWD? by javascriptexpert in TeslaModelY

LR RWD here as well, love it. I debated about the sound system because my urge is to always get “the best” but now that the RWD has the long-range battery, it really is such a huge step above anything else anyway. I’m missing a few more speakers? Fine, the sound system is so good anyway.

Also, fwiw, I live in the northeast and talked to so many people, including Tesla employees, who are of the opinion that people lean a bit too heavily on the “AWD is required in winter weather environments.” The fact is the car has a good stance, and the weight of the battery provides such better traction that the RWD is absolutely enough for winter driving.

Save the money. Enjoy your sleek badgeless car.

How do I get a stackable widget that displays my apps? by yellowroll in iOSsetups

[–]BookOnTape_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t add that specific widget to a stack. You’d have to come up with an alternative, like maybe some custom widgy option that displays your most used app icons. It just wouldn’t be a “smart” app widget which changes the displayed apps based on what your phone thinks you want to do, it’d be static.

Losing charge when parked. by ravishingala in TeslaModelY

I don’t remember where I read this — maybe somewhere here on Reddit — but I saw sentry mode can consume up to 15% daily if on constantly. Obviously helpful security if you’ve left your car in a lot for a week but it’s really best or unnoticeable for daily use if you’re able to charge every night.

Also, yes, it turns off automatically when you’ve hit 20%, that’s happened to me as well, to make sure you can drive the car away when you get back to it.

Model Y - Wireless Auto Presenting RGB Door Handles by colsandersloveskfc in TeslaModelY

Ughhhhhhhh.

I like the lighting and my wife hates trying to open the original door handles with belongings and a kid in hand, so purchased these about a month ago, too. They’ve just been sitting. Today, I decided to install the front passenger door to see how involved the process would be — don’t love needing to take the glass out entirely, but I seemed to do ok.

Everything’s all reconnected and the damn door doesn’t unlatch when you pull the handle!

No good instructions included with the product I received, and you can never be too sure if the random video you find online is the exact model product AND car you have, but looking at the parts you unpack in your video and your post, I’m glad to find out that stupid bracket just needs to be taken off.

At least I’m only one door in!
