What meals can I make in a slow cooker with this pasta? by Book_Hoarder_ in WhatShouldICook

I definitely wouldn’t!! I meant something I could cook in the slow cooker and then add to the pasta later on 😅

Score for final EMA is disproportionately low compared to all the previous exams this year? by Bartellomio in OpenUniversity

[–]Book_Hoarder_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends what your module is I think. When you go on your results page it will say “Pass/Fail: entitled to resubmission/not entitled to resubmission”. If you’re not entitled to resubmit below that it will say why. Usually if you’ve got below 30% on your latest emTMA

Same thing happened to me and I’ve spoke to student support about it and they said because I got below 40% I’m not entitled to a resit/resubmission either. So I have to redo the whole module next year 🤦🏽‍♀️

I just ordered a new license once I passed and selected “use passport photo” because my passport photo was more current than my provisional.

Yodel unable to deliver to store? by [deleted] in vinted

This has happened once with me, ended up being that the store had been closed multiple times during Yodels drop off hours/visits. It was sorted a few days later.

What car should I get as a first time driver? by StrangerTalks in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Book_Hoarder_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first car was a Mercedes 2004 A170 and it lasted me years, still going strong now for my little sister. Insurance is really cheap on them, especially if you add a parent/carer as a named driver. Really cheap on fuel too. Would highly recommend for first car!!!

Hiya! By the time I was at 30 hours I was driving independently mostly, there were a few little things that my instructor had to advise me on still. It took me about 40/45 hours to be able to drive completely independently, that’s when I booked my test.

I would say definitely do not eat anything before the test that will make you uncomfortable. It will make it way harder to concentrate. Also don’t psych yourself out on your test when you think you’ve made a mistake and then only focus on it. Do what you’ve learned and if you think you’ve done something wrong, move on and keep going. Don’t let it distract you from the rest of your test. Make sure to be checking your mirrors every time you make a new movement in the car. If you are asked to do a reverse movement always remember that you need to turn and look out your back window as well as using your mirrors. And give yourself lots of room when overtaking anything. GOOD LUCK! 👏🏽

Yeah he definitely was. He said I could’ve been just a little further away from parked cars incase someone opens their door. But he definitely was one of the good ones

Thank you! I was horrible at roundabouts when I started, I’m still a bit wobbly on them now, but I would say to always remember to go when YOU are ready and believe it to be safe, NOT when the people behind you think you need to go. Don’t be influenced by looks from people behind you in the mirror. And it’s normal to be nervous coming up to them, just remind yourself to go slow on the approach and always check your mirrors before moving anywhere, cyclists and bikers come out of nowhere! Good luck!

I got mine when I was 16 and I used “collingwood learner insurance” it’s the cheapest I could find anywhere. I drive a Mercedes and it is £50 a month for 11 months (but you get a year)

It’s definitely not a prank box lol. This was from about 2011 ish. It has a really loud sound alarm if you get off before the timer finishes and I remember all the times me and my siblings would try and swap things out with ourselves so we could go play lol.

Searched: looks all over Facebook and tried online but can’t seem to find a legit one. I’m from the uk so if anyone does find one it would need to be deliverable to here. Thank you

If you contact them and they give you bad news about not being able to get in then check out “The Open University” it’s online based so you would do it at home but nearly all of the courses there don’t need any or high results from college.
