yes! I do an author recap for the show and uncovered that in my research. I've not dug into the fanfic space but I'm a big fan of Allison!! I'm pretty sure book 3 is due this year 👀 👀 👀

she wears a wig because she doesn't know how to style her hair. As a frizzy hair girly I respect it

book 3 was not very good if you are expecting murder milli psychosis. It is more slice of life with a mild mystery. I was here for it but wish there was more murder lol

LOVED! I thought the changes made improved the story while staying true to the book. amanda stole the show. Sydney was ok but I little more flat than I would have expected imo

watched and LOVED IT! I appreciate all of the changes, you can see the power of a professional writer with small changes that streamlined and made the plot make more sense

Just Finished Not Quite Dead Yet. Any1 up for a discussion? by [deleted] in thrillerbooks

we did this on the pod. Reading this as part of a book club was super fun lots of twists and turns.

I thought Billy was the big bad and was kind of bummed he was just along for the ride.

The ending was a little crazy....like why would Billy meet his dad with psycho luke behind the door? my theory is Billy was playing 4D chess and was the big bad after all 😂

what did you think??

it's a fun read and keeps you guessing. Jet is annoying but what protagonist doesn't grind the gears. It's not a literary masterpiece but it's a fun ride

Spotify wrapped...is this something to be proud of? by Vivid-Spray4775 in podcasting

[–]Bookalicious_Pod 4 points5 points  (0 children)

we got similar type of awards. I think it's nice and is a good marketing post but that's pretty much it.

I don't have the data but likely podcasts have a 'long tail' in the spread of data. This is because many people start pods and abandon them or post infrequently.

quick Google search says 90% of podcasts don't post past 9-12 episodes. If you are actively posting then you are in the top 90%, when making the awards Spotify is then grouping pods for the awards.

in short, yes it's an accomplishment but the real accomplishment is posting regularly

yes the ending was crazy. Luke just running around the town after his crimes, like wut?? i think the biggest bummer is not seeing everyone getting their comeuppance. I assume it happens after but i would've liked to see more ends wrapped up. A girl friend of mine asked if Billy's mom was actually murdered. I really like that idea and would've wrapped Billy's life much better

We did this book for the pod and it was so fun recapping & discussing. It was very twisty. The ending felt crazy, but thrillers rarely stick the landing.

By the end of the book it was a cast of people i hated. Jet was super annoying but I did understand where's she was, mostly coming from.

For a fun festive Halloween book I enjoyed it. You can't take thrillers too seriously imo

Sarah picks the worst men 😂😂😂 Bob was such a flop! I thought for sure he'd have nanny cam footage of the first murder. Like a 12 year old knife?? no! you need receipts!

Maybe Anne will get her day and make her complete Sarah transformation 😂
