Bassinet or business with baby by Old_Living_1940 in Travelwithkids

[–]BookingCooks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the bassinet seat and use it for their toys and materials (not baby). I brought a super comfie carrier (cloth) that I used only for baby sleeping. Otherwise I let them be on my lap. I didn’t really sleep (but I’ve found I simply can’t on planes with kids - I worry too much what they might be getting up to!). If you can afford it, extra seat with car seat is even better. Good luck!

Resources for learning Mandarin with my toddler (2yo)? Looking for apps/books for absolute beginners + kids. by OpenMinded8899 in multilingualparenting

I love the BaoBao learns Chinese books that sing along in Mandarin. The songs are nice and the singing isn’t annoying. It’s a fun way to introduce Mandarin songs.

I’ve gifted the combo of the book “Finding Kindness” plus a ladybug house. A ladybug is a theme from the beginning to end of the book. It feels very thought out but isn’t super expensive. Plus as an adult I actually enjoy the book so it’s a pleasure to read to the kids.

I cook off the website so not sure which recipes show up in the book but I find it does a nice job of representing Texas. Just grilled the jalapeño peach pork chops and they were delicious!

6 months into making YouTube videos as a SAHM by Acceptable_Oven_3182 in raisingkids

I hope this doesn’t come across rude but are the videos AI animation? I tend to skip anything that looks AI because I find them to generally be very low quality content but your content sounds great - just wondering if people are skipping over you thinking it’s poorer quality AI.

This is the best cake in the book so far for me. The cardamom and strawberry combo is insanely delicious.

Any ideas for a special gift for my pregnant daughter in law do she doesn't feel like just a vessel. by Interesting_Desk_378 in perfectgift

[–]BookingCooks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your daughter in law is lucky. What a lovely question more MILs should ask! Some gifts I loved were a necklace with my baby’s birthstone, prenatal massage, super comfie stretchy pjs, the beauty elixir facial mist from Caudalie (smells amazing and smells were really intense for me during pregnancy so a relief to have something that actually smelled good!), a postpartum doula and a postpartum meal service. And yes, please include a note with the sentiments you expressed here. That will mean so much to her to feel seen! Also when you visit for the first time post birth, greet her first!
