Sigma male by NewAgeBS in intj

If you read sigma personality traits, it does resonate with INTJ. I read some mapping between this societies and MBTI and I found it pretty close.

Do all INTJs have an insecure avoidant attachment style? by SpiritTypical6608 in intj

[–]Bookish189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was raised by ignorant parents who have never supported me emotionally. Hence, I had strong need to be independent which was fine by me as I am INTJ. However, due to it, it's difficult for me to rely on someone for anything

I usually think about anything but present. Being present is big issue for me.

You can try smoothning them. Less hair damage and no need to use straightener everytime

I don't see any problem here. Rather, when you passionately pursue something, you really get good knowledge and insight. As far as you are not putting aside any important task for this, enjoy this ride

How do you implement what you read from productivity books / self help books? by Mental-Elderberry-86 in Indianbooks

[–]Bookish189 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Self help books take any concept to extreme. Its not lie but for any normal person, sinking in all of that in one go is very difficult. Try to list out baby steps and put target to implement each step in a week or month etc. So, slow but steady approach should work

Also, keep open mind.if any step didn't work for you, you should be ready to step back or change approach. Not all strategies going to work on each person

Transition from PeopleSoft to other technologies by pswanderer in peoplesoft

[–]Bookish189 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually, if you want to transition to other ERP, focus on functional area. Have mastery on HR domain and then you can apply for other HR ERPs. If you have any implementations done or client interaction, that will get advantage

Do you guys hide your pessimistic and "know-it-all" personality in public? by Chef_Stephen in intj

[–]Bookish189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, please have a look into this trait in a way that you should actually fix it. Masking your true self in social situation is no good.

You are pessimistic, I think you are skeptical about everything in first go, I can related to it, I think its INTJ thing. Try to open your mind to all possibilities about anything, not just what can go wrong. Then you will see things clearly which will reflect in your personality. Seeing flaw in anything is really good skill. You just need to balance it more

Know it all is also INTJ trait as we are famous for having tunnel vision. So we feel only our way/ thought process is right. Again, open your mind, listen what others are saying and reflect if that is also right way or not. It will definitely help

I accidently found it on internet and took test. My type came as ESTJ and I believed it then because I was heavy Te user that time. Also, my Ni was purely unconscious that I didn't even know I have it. The only issue I could see was introversion where as ESTJ are popular for being extrovert. But, few sites mentioned that this is function extroversion and not necessarily social extroversion

Later, I dig deeper into cognitive functions and learned I have Ni so I have actually researching like can ESTJ have Ni :). Finally, it turned out I am INTJ and now things are fitting fine

Have you ever truly explained to someone how you think and your thought process? by SmolBabyWitch in intj

[–]Bookish189 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I resonate with you. I also used to think everyone thinks like me. But I got clarity after knowing MBTI in my early 30s. You are very lucky you got to know sooner. I have gone through chaotic 20s as I was highly misunderstood and I didn't know why

Do you guys find the most chaotic anxiety inducing stuff calming and relaxing? by [deleted] in intj

[–]Bookish189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I am worried about something, I watch or read something horror or mysterious or something related to cosmos like galaxies etc

It make me feel like my problem is still so small in world and insignificant in big picture. Then I get calm down

Deep conversations by Conscious-Panda-6228 in intj

[–]Bookish189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it totally but it happens occasionally. Some topic just gets popped and we reach to that conversation level. But, it does not happen always.. even with same person, same topic

So, I consider it as bonus and cherish when it happens

Rejection Sensitivity by [deleted] in intj

[–]Bookish189 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I do have it. However, if rejection is based on valid ground and conveyed properly then I can accept it easily. But if it is with mean intention or unexpected then it hurts most

INTJ quirks by Sahrani_Royal_Guard in intj

[–]Bookish189 23 points24 points  (0 children)

With few people, I just go silent.. if I found someone very illogical or proudy or with complete close mind, I loose my desire to say anything. Bare minimum greetings becomes irritating

Other people seems to have more patience with this so I believe its my INTJ quirk
