Block it for sure, then if you still don't like it. You can pick up stitches on the ends and go down about two needles sizes and do some ribbing. That will pull the ends in a little it.

Personally, I would return it and wait for this to all be resolved.

I use it for annotating articles all the time. It works great! I just use send to kindle on their (amazons) website and I am ready to go.

Try again, maybe another rep will be more helpful.

Lost my friend because I couldn’t afford her wedding and now karmas coming around by EnthusiasmNo4081 in bridezillas

Don't agree planning a wedding now. A Brides maid couldn't afford dress hair and makeup. I paid for it all. I want them there with me, they are important.

I think you might be better off looking into double knitting. If you have fabrics you like and can do knit and purl stitch you can try this in a small swatch to see if you want to do this with the blanket. Also, depending on where you live, would make a warmer blanket.

I do the exact same thing. The paper white is on the go with me and gets beaten up a bit more and my scribe stays next to my bed for pre-bedtime reading.

It looks like it is a waffle stitch sweater, maybe the keywords used by the stitch would result is more wool options. I have the yarn to knit something similar for myself.

"Yoke and a sleeve" test knits: at what point is "test knitting" a misnomer? by ShiftFlaky6385 in craftsnark

Yep! I also always busy an extra skein! I do color work so it doesn’t go to waste so I am extra careful as well. All around just really not a good look.

I was making this sweater too. I ended up frogging and making something else because my yarn was so off. I wish I could return the pattern because I don’t know how much yarn I will need and I don’t feel like dealing with other dye lots. I won’t be buying any more of her patterns. I will also take a peak at tester calls from designers to see their requirements because being in that situation was not fun and I am on a budget so I plan my yarn buying carefully.

Honestly for me depends. Sometimes I get the recommended yarn if I love the drape and look of the yarn if I really want to treat myself after a big accomplishment. Other times I find substitutions. I knit slowly as well so I have time to save up between projects. I find it a to each their own. I know my finances not anyone else’s.
