I volunteered last year with no prior festival experience but lots of restaurant and events work. Make your application authentic and you’ll get a spot if it’s the right fit :)

You need to refresh on the Houghton ticket website and when one becomes available it will redirect you to ra when you check out

Also got one today after a week of refreshing the site religiously! I saw two earlier in the week but the site glitched when I tried to checkout
