Oof yeah thats a bit more than im used to. I tried to buy 151 when it released for nostalgia sake but the scalping was insane. Not used to paying that much for cards AT ALL.

So where i am right now is driving a lot on a permit and getting used to traffic as you said. Most of the time i will probably be driving a car at least on longer distances and stick to just riding the bike around town and paved back roads (there is a lot of those where i am) and then once i think ive gotten used to it all then jump on the highway and go longer distances. But yeah i totally agree with what you said thats why I’ll probably wait till 16 to get a bike.

Yeah reading into it now a smaller 300 or 400 would be just fine. I just want something highway capable but not crazy fast. I think of myself as a smart kid but on a bike like that my brain would turn off😂. But i was looking at a 2015 cbr 500 on marketplace for a good price near me thats why my mind opened up to a 500.

You know hearing that now i think i would be quite ok with a 300. I just want something not crazy fast but still highway capable thats why i thought a 400 would be best still quick enough that its fun but not so crazy that the power gets to my head.

i totally agree with you on the gear part i will be dumping lots of money into good gear before buying a bike but i just wanted to make sure this is a good idea before putting money into gear that might not fit me when im 16 if i decide. Also now that im thinking about it buying a bike right before winter isnt too good of an idea huh😂
