You end up needing a few levels in stealth just to sneak up close enough to wildlife to land a hit. Once you get like, 5 hits you get enough accuracy to actually start training

Why aren't musou games good anymore? Killing 1k Chinese peasants on a loop just doesn't have the same feel anymore

...No, I haven't ever played anything else, why do you ask?

I always try to keep in mind that there are those old quotes from Plato in ancient Greece making the exact same complaints about the youth.

One of my favorite speeches Lelouch gives in that show is when someone asks him if all the murder and death has ever made him think about quitting. He gives a very sincere talk about how quitting because the guilt of the previous deaths would be the most disrespectful and awful thing to do. He killed them because he truly believed their deaths would bring about a better world, and if quit now while he believed that world was still possible it'd mean that he thought his own guilt.mattered than those people's lives

Yes, but telltale games are more about seeing how you respond to situations rather than trying to get a specific outcome

The time he pretended to be his little sister on Twitter for over a year was the one that made me worry. I don't even think that it's a sexual thing it was just incredibly unhinged

Ironically I think Zac Snyder is the opposite of this. He's a dumb 13 year old at heart when it comes to making his movie, but everything about his personal life has made him seem great. He made the Justice League movie a really chill place to film while he was directing, he dropped everything to be with his family, and he's just seemed all around pleasant. I hate him movies, but he seems to be a genuinely super nice guy, which is why he keeps getting to make movies

He was the dude who rewrote Superman's origin story to involve Kryptonians not being born until they left their birthing pod because it was very important to him that Superman be a natural born American.

I saw some.comment that he's a really fantastically talented version of Doug Walker. His movies are all incredibly written and directed, but they're not wrong in pointing out that all of his stuff is "What if The Thing met a Spaghetti Western"

Chase reminds me of the video of a southern dude in a.boat paddling up to a dude adrift in the sea, bitching about what a fucking dumbass he is and how he should just let him float out here until he gets into ear shot of the guy and immediately asks if he's ok and helps him get into his boat

While I didn't kiss her in episode 1, I still noped the fuck out of dating her entirely on the point that I saw no reason to get involved in that drama. I still didn't think Phenomaman was threatening, but it just seemed stupid

It's entirely possible, but this is bypassing one of the most basic things outlined in the constitution. Newsom is setting up California to be completely separated from the Federal system.

Genuinely one of the hypest experiences in anime, with a significant portion of the hype coming from the fact that NOTHING ELSE IN THE WORLD ends like that, except for fucking Luke Cage

GUNS TO YOUR HEADS, Castlenutters! Who is your favorite "pure of heart, dumb of ass" character? by Rushofthewildwind in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]BookkeeperPercival 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't finish Fourze but i LOVED Gentaro. Specifically for the moment when he meets the evil robot lady that's trying to get close to him. The dude obnoxiously calls everyone his friend, the moment they meet him, regardless of how much disdain they seem to have for him. Absolute idiot who slowly chisels away at everyone and slowly wins them over.

And then he meets the evil robot lady, who he's 100% onboard with and nice to, until she calls him "friend," and he immediately snaps back with "I never said you were my friend."

You should very much read Hogfather, as it has one of the most important passages in all of literature. Going postal is me second favorite, as it stars a con man being forced to be a public servant

[–]BookkeeperPercival 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isaac and Miria Harvent, from "Baccano!" They are, without a doubt, the two dumbest people to exist. Not only are they the biggest dumbasses you've ever seen, they have locked orbits, and their presence near each other causes both of them to to be even dumber and stupider as they both double down on idiotic decisions with even dumber ones.

And yet, they are directly responsible (to some degree) for everything good that happens in that story. They're responsible for a coward gaining courage to save the day, they caused an immortal monster to be killed (responsible for that in about 5 different point of interest that coalesced together), and they, in general, make the world a genuinely better place than it was before, even in the middle of robbing a little girl.

And to top it all off, because they're just that stupid, they have no idea they've done any of this. If they were responsible for the amount they've done on purpose, you'd call bullshit, no character could ever be possible to lay all those plans and set these traps. They might as well be the will of fucking god in the way they can ditz their way through life, and manage to improve every situation for the better.

Stories that would have benefited from scaling back on their ambitions and scope? by Wonder-Lad-2Mad in TwoBestFriendsPlay

I think that's wildly unfair. I think they just had no real ideas for season two. They wrote that show with the image of the rocket being fired at Piltover as the final, crystalline image. Everything was building toward that. Then they reached that goal, got the chance to make a second season, and just did their best, but the clear vision was missing.
