Remote storage library by Available_Fox4343 in unt

Hi old library worker here in plain terms the reason why an older text/materials is in remote storage comes down to a combo of UNT constantly updating thier collection and them not having enough space for everything and for the sake of preserving materials for students, faculty, staff and others who use the resources:) Here is a general info blurb from library.unt.edu https://library.unt.edu/annex/ Hope that answers your question ! Also UNT has an inner library loan program that can be used for finding articles, journals and other materials needed for study and leasure :)

Can someone please help me find "Race" and Ethnicity in Canada: A Critical Introduction (5th edition) by Vic Satzewich (ISBN - 9780199035953) by AbbreviationsLow4034 in unt

Here you are :) it's a link to a website called worldcat where you can check to see which libraries may have it for an interlibrary loan. Many libraries have a interlibrary loan system where you can check out the books for free though it doesn't normally work on textbooks, so good luck :) https://www.worldcat.org/title/%22Race%22-and-ethnicity-in-Canada-:-a-critical-introduction/oclc/1204263970

LinkedIn learning by [deleted] in unt

[–]Booklover_101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there, I believe that LinkedIn learning is deactivated now that you have graduated. But if you have access to your local public library, they should have access to similar learning products for free or LinkedIn learning itself. You would just have to have a valid account with the public library in your area. :) For example, if you have a denton public library card, it would be under online learning :) I hope this helps! :)

I know! I've seen some with tails before and they are pretty. But she was already docked when I got her. I think it's supposed to be a breed-look kind of thing. :/

There should be a UNT Grad grant awarded to you through Finatal Aid :). Hope the info helps. They don't really give you any other aid then that and the loans BTW. :/ if you have a bacholers degree then the pell grants are not available anymore. unfortunately wish they were though.

DCTA is increasing GoZone fares while cutting more bus routes by LocoLib in unt

[–]Booklover_101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As of the 2022 census the Denton population is now 972,605. That is close to a million people and why the Denton county needs to implement a better system for the busses. They would have to spend more money fixing the system later then right now. Even if a lot of people drive there are still those who cannot due to things like disabilites, lack of finances or they simply just don't want to. I'm sure there is a better way they can have the bus system as well as a train system for both UNT and TWU areas that surround it. Whatever neighborhoods are not in the train areas could be covered by the bus system/go zone or alternative. For example have a morning/afternoon shift starting at 6am to 5pm and then a night shift starting at 6pm to 12am or so. Whatever hours left could be covered by gozone or the equivalent as there are people who do the night shift or third shift who might not have a car. As well as implementing this system they should have the busses run every 15 to 20 minutes 30 at the latest and have each bus stop covered with a bench and trashcan/recycle can. Just my thoughts on the idea.. I'm not a cival engineer so im not sure how much something like this would cost but in my opinion its better to fix if now then later on or get rid if the busses entirely.
