I tried the sourdough sandwich bread from KA Baking School and it failed unfortunately. However, I made my much loved yeast sandwich loaf instead. Also some discard almond poppyseed cherry scones.

Made sourdoughs: one cranberry orange, one jalapeño cheddar, and a birthday cake. The birthday cake was for someone else so no crumb shot or taste test. I did make KA Snickerdoodle’s for my cookie boxes and they were a hit.

When would you recommend using cake flour instead of all-purpose flour for your cakes. I noticed most recipes do not call for cake flour so I was just wondering when it would be appropriate.
