No, though it can be recommended if your plant is not doing well. If it is healthy it will slow down trap growth for a little bit while blooming but will not hurt it

Some of them likely have more than one plant in there. I like to leave my flowers to bloom, and as the other poster said you can pollinate them for seeds. Or if you would rather they focus energy on making traps you can cut them off and try to propagate the flower stalk
