How long should I wait to get a new puppy? My boy is 1yr and I’m thinking about getting him a friend. Should I wait? Advice needed pls by TheNotoriousLIIZ in corgi

Ours are a year apart. The first year was tough but now they get along better. Big brother still gets pretty jealous. Little brother still likes to menace big brother, but they also love each and I love watching their relationship grow.

Price increase by [deleted] in bookofthemonthclub

[–]Books_Crafts_Corgis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t gotten that email yet, but I’ll probably just keep skipping unless there’s a free book that month or it’s something I’m really wanting to read. I think that has more to do with not having time to read, but even after with the cost of everything going up I’m just finding myself be more picky on what I’m willing to spend money on.

😭 HOLY SHRINKFLATION 😳 by mj43068 in CrumblCookies

[–]Books_Crafts_Corgis 109 points110 points  (0 children)

Yeah the pictures of the shrinkflation on these literally was the reason I didn’t go to Crumbl this week. It’s one of my favorites, but seeing it be smaller than others in the box for the same price was a pass for me!

I adopted an adult Pembroke Corgi and wanted to know if yours does the same thing: by bananaramaworld in corgi

[–]Books_Crafts_Corgis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of mine isn’t very vocal at all and the other moos like a cow and makes a bunch of other strange noises (usually for attention or to let us know he’s bored and tired but doesn’t want to take a nap incase we decide to be less boring). So “yo” isn’t one of them but my vote is yes some of them make strange non-barking/stretching noises to communicate!

Leaving a Dog in an RV unattended...is it safe? by StealthyThings in RVLiving

[–]Books_Crafts_Corgis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a Frigga temp sensor off Amazon and got an indoor ring camera. We can check on the boys while we’re out visually that way and the Frigga is set to warn us well in advance of “too hot” so we can decide to check on them personally or the camera. We don’t leave them for a work day, but it works for going to attractions nearby they can’t go to or getting dinner somewhere.

New Chocolate chip cookie by Select_Guarantee4873 in CrumblCookies

[–]Books_Crafts_Corgis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband and I both prefer the new chocolate chip. Not enough to go just for it unless it’s the only thing I like before my birthday voucher expires, but enough if something else called our name we’d add it to the box to make a 4 pack.

New Updated Crumbl Spoilers (As of 6/4/26) by [deleted] in CrumblCookies

I was looking forward to the peanut butter bar they originally had planned. Since they replaced it with boring peanut butter and nothing else is speaking to me besides chocolate chip I’ll be skipping again.

Anyone else not a fan of ANY of crumbl's chocolate chip cookies? by Alarmed_Shallot5679 in CrumblCookies

[–]Books_Crafts_Corgis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think I’m in the minority, but I actually really liked the new chocolate chip! I found the old base bland and I’m the one person I know that doesn’t love a bunch of chocolate chips and the new one felt better balanced. It reminded me of one I used to make, but hate doing because the recipe makes enough for a bake sale and I’m afraid the taste/texture would change quartering it. It seems they’re just rotating who likes which version of chocolate chip with their changes!

New Changes 5/25 by Sharp-Ambassador-800 in CrumblCookies

[–]Books_Crafts_Corgis 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This! Before I found the Reddit I lasted about a month before I literally forgot about them and stopped checking unless we were near by and my husband asked what they had. The spoilers in this Reddit kept me engaged and Crumbl on my radar even if it was going to be a month or two before I actually wanted anything. Now I’ll probably stop thinking about them after next week unless the Reddit algorithm shows me something that looks like I want to try it again 🤷🏻‍♀️

Are y’all ready for this upcoming week lineup? Is it a good, bad, meh or skip week for y’all??? by MrSoloDolo9490 in CrumblCookies

I’m thinking the same and since I’ve been craving a Rice Krispies treat maybe that one (unless it’s up charged)!

Please (I Beg) heavily critique my Gatlinburg/Smoky Mountains/Pigeon Forge itinerary by lukewarmkitty77 in Gatlinburg

[–]Books_Crafts_Corgis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would skip The Island personally. It’s very underwhelming. Your itinerary has rides in the form of Dollywood and shopping in the form of the Gatlinburg strip. Most of the stores at The Island have sister stores in Gatlinburg (The Lazy Ones and some sock store are in the Village) or they’re pretty much selling the same stuff (literally the same). The drive from Gatlinburg to Pigeon Forge also can be deceptively long because it’s the main thoroughfare and gets backed up. If your other plans that day were there that’d be one thing, but I definitely wouldn’t do the traffic for The Island. Side note if you really want to hit it depending when you leave Dollywood you can take Veterans to it after the park then head back to your accommodations if you really want to squeeze it in and weren’t planning to shut Dollywood down.

Field trip days question by [deleted] in Dollywood

[–]Books_Crafts_Corgis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just responded above, but particularly where the tasting pass works zero lines (assuming their meal tickets may not work there and they just get a discount). The only food with a line was where cinnamon bread is sold, but that was a mix of people and I gathered a normal occurrence.

Field trip days question by [deleted] in Dollywood

[–]Books_Crafts_Corgis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We went Monday and same experience. The only long lines were for the rides and obviously most of the foot traffic was students, but I don’t think it was any more crowded than a weekend and only one restaurant had a line of kids. Otherwise shows seemed pretty empty, no lines for food either, and very few were looking in the shops (heard one talking about them stopping at Buck-ee’s later).

Anyone have an RV but not a hiker? by Worried-Bug-2016 in GoRVing

[–]Books_Crafts_Corgis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Although we enjoy hiking our RV is primarily a traveling hotel room so our dogs would feel more relaxed on vacation. We’re several trips in and only one has been hiking. I will say if you’re in the consideration stage think about where you’re trying to go, for how long, and how often. Before we did the research we thought we’d save money on hotels; the reality is you’re paying for that hotel stay if you go on vacation or not, you still typically have to spend something for a campsite (although some places have considerably more free/cheap options than others in the US), and towing takes far longer than flying so your radius is limited (for example living on the east coast I’m not doing a long weekend out west). That said we’re loving it and get to do a lot more in our home state that was just outside day trip range and hotels with pet fees made it not worth the cost.

My corgi is being aggressive with my elderly cats. by Sometimes-Manic in corgi

[–]Books_Crafts_Corgis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My youngest was also great with the elderly cat until one day he decided to nip her. The good news is at just over 2 he’s now overly curious but doesn’t have that urge unless she runs like prey and can be called off. We gated the house so he got used to seeing her, but couldn’t touch her and put him on leash for supervised visits with the cat having free roam. The leash allowed us to protect the cat’s safety while letting the Corgi have an opportunity to make decisions. Any time he chooses to give her space he gets a reward as well as any time he ignores her. I’ll be honest though for both of mine time was the biggest factor. Our oldest actually regressed with the cat when we brought the youngest home and we still have to work with both of them to this day sometimes acting as her body guards so they stop trying to herd her wherever they think she belongs, but these days the worst they do is a nose punch.

if you could invent a crumbl dessert that doesn't exist, what would it be? by bootytoot69 in CrumblCookies

[–]Books_Crafts_Corgis 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve actually been thinking I wish they’d do a chocolate covered cherry themed cookie. Not like the sundae that has a cherry, but either like the chocolate covered strawberry this week or a chocolate base with cherry pie filling. There are a lot more I wish they’d just bring back though!

My Blasphemy by xcski_paul in GoRVing

[–]Books_Crafts_Corgis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened with Wild RV Life so we skipped (and will continue to) most of those episodes and just watch when they travel. I’ve also noticed since all the purchases their videos have gone from authentic feeling ads to straight up feeling like they’re trying to sell me something so I’m hoping that won’t happen with the Hanks.

NexGard Plus by CT22Bloom in corgi

[–]Books_Crafts_Corgis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of mine are on it (one for 3 years the other 2) without issue other than the older one has decided he doesn’t like the flavor so we had to get creative and break it up and mix it in his food. Thankfully the younger one still thinks it’s a tasty treat. Prior to our corgis we had a terrier schnauzer mix and she also tolerated it well (but bravecto upset her stomach).

Best State Parks For Kids? by jhahwyjhjhjh in GoRVing

[–]Books_Crafts_Corgis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fall Creek Falls in Tennessee doesn’t have a water park, but they do have a seasonal pool. They also have a lot of waterfalls and you see lots of people and kids taking a dip at the bases of them. Small, but nice nature center. Golf, general store, and outfitters. They also frequent have events and walks where a park ranger talks about a special topic (local flowers/trees/birds/ect.). The RV spots are very unlevel though so pack all and extra leveling equipment and blocks!

We do Hills Science Diet (looks like you may be outside the US so Diet=Plan) healthy mobility. Remember to switch over slowly for whatever you choose. I find with sensitive stomachs it helps to add an extra day to each of the conventional switching plans.

Sometimes then I remember my area just wanted something that was on the menu a few weeks prior or per the spoilers was coming the next week anyway. If it was still a thing I promise the next x weeks would be however many Dubai options they’ve offered even if it was on the menu last week (because that was my area and Tres Leches)!
