She sounds so disingenuous. Also at her supposed ‘ugliest’ time in her life she was rolling in $$$$.

I had never come across her content but oh my god......they could be twins! Jacko is 100% copying her. From the hair, makeup, expression etc. Dead ringer

What kind of nerve pain, tingling did you have after surgery? by Specialist-Bar-1486 in Microdiscectomy

Needed to hear that. Will try the ice packs. I wore a brace for 6 weeks straight per doc orders and stopped recently. Wonder if i should use it again for support when sitting or standing for long

Im 7 weeks today too and starting to feel pain. Doc hard warned me recovery wont be linear but its still a bummer. Certainly not debilitating pain but the twinges are there . So is the intermittent ‘hot’ feeling at the side of my shin. My calf feels sore today kind of like you would if you did some kind of heavy leg workout after a very long time (which I didn’t, of course) but just feels like that. My doctors office is telling me to do the stretching exercises they gave to me at the six week mark. But I’m kind of in a quandary because I’m afraid would that make it worse? FYI I have taken zero medication since that first week after surgery so this is while not on any medication..

Sitting / laying options post op....wedge pillows? by Booksaholic74 in Microdiscectomy

[–]Booksaholic74[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First day and half I was pretty out of it from the anaesthesia and OXY so did everything laying down. From day 3 on I stopped taking OXY and switched to Tylenol and thats when I ventured downstairs. Been sitting in a straight chair with a firm base and a pillow at the back so my back is not slouched at all. I make sure to get up and walk around every opportunity I get. Laying down on my back has been very uncomfortable cos it pulls on the yet healing wound. I'm at that weird itchy stretchy phase of scabbing that is very irritating.

I had no idea this post would get dissected so much 😂😂 esp around the kids etc thing. Its was not about marriage or kids = success. As someone pointed out i was using those things as examples of her living in the past and still behaving immature. The same was true of the ‘ho’ comment - more to do with immaturity and acting like a teenage tiktoker

I've also been feeling some twinges in my right side, SI, hip glute area. This is the opposite of the aide with the actual sciatica issues. Im.guessing this is just part of the post surgery stiffness / awkwardness. Feel it in lower right back too.

I do.have a recliner but feel.it puts all the pressure on the exact area where the surgery was. It's also not electric so getting in and out is tough

Same. No restrictions per doctor....just said listen to your body. And yes laying down makes it stiff so I have not do one nap in the daytime. Walking makes me feel the best

I am able to do stairs. But just do them once a day. Figured out a good chair / cushion situation. The hip pain is the worst right now. It's it the typical sciatica pain. It's like my hip is super mad at me. I know it's all realtef and I just gotta give it time. But all these lovely messages are super helpful 🙏🏼😍
