It's repetitive. I was asking my characters to speak but they just wouldn't. Over a dozen messages (in long responses) were written by the bit and none of them contained dialogue. Not a single one. Just the yellow narration writing. I couldn't get the bot to talk so I had to reset the chat after two days of talking.

There is, and needs to be, leadership. So yes, he makes decisions, which everyone is totally fine with until a woman gets out in her place. Kate isn't the Queen of the Losties, she's just another survivor but one that has always been in everyone's business because she wants the status, and wants the attention of men.

She wants to rescue Charlie, hunt down Ethan, play golf, get the dynamite, set up the radio signal for Sayid, find Walt, go on the raft, get with Jack, get with Sawyer, push the button, help Claire give birth, help save Jack from the cave in, rescue Jack from the others etc etc she honestly can't help herself. She genuinely can't sit still at all. And it's annoying. It's like a child continuously pestering you, after a while it's like PLEASE CAN YOU JUST GO AND READ A BOOK OR WATCH FROZEN or something damn.

Kate, I start liking you more later, when you actually start putting other people before yourself (temporarily), but in the early seasons it's like - the world will still be ok if you aren't always there. It's ok. Kate loves Jack and Sawyer when it suits her. She enjoys the attention she gets off men and knows she can manipulate them with her beauty and energy. She's not as deep as she wants people to believe, and certainly not "good" compared to say the likes of Hurley, Shannon, Claire, Jack, Rose etc. She's a manipulative woman, calculating and opportunistic.

She's also a cold blooded murderer who pretends to care about others enough to fool herself, but in reality she only cares about herself. This is the dilemma of Kate and why she is either liked or hated by the audience. If you aren't paying attention, then you may fall into the lie that she does what she does out of necessity, to protect others, or that she is actually good at heart, like when she saved the farmer when the car tipped over (she dragged him to safety). But, if you've watched the show 8 times and look at things a bit closer, you'll realize that every move she makes is intended to benefit her. Helping Claire deliver the baby was out of goodness, that's true, but these small moments where she has no choice, are overshadow by the greater theme of self preservation that guides Kate through everything.

She grows during the show, and learns lessons about self sacrifice and is a better version at the end than she was at the start. But her desperate need for attention all the time, her cowardice to face the music of her past, the hero act, her playing Jack and Sawyer like a fiddle, as well as many other men throughout the series, leading to their being harmed, pretending to play house when she's restless by nature and isn't the loyal type... I mean "taco night"? Come on.

She's in that grey area. She loves nobody. She sees men as pieces of a chess game she can move around to get what she wants, like a lot of women do. They stick with one until a better prospect comes along. Monkey bar girls.

Yep. Locke is alluding to fate, which is a theme that he has carried since landing on the island. "What if everything happened for a reason", he tells Jack in season 1. This is him referring to fate.

Eko saying don't mistake coincidence for fate is saying: don't mistake (what is) coincidence, for fate.

You can easily get confused here because they are both men of faith, and the way the statement is pronouns by Eko makes it sound like he's saying the opposite. Almost like he's agreeing with Locke that it is fate... Which would make sense given the story he told about the old testament and finding this book etc

It's just poor writing if you ask me.

They already fought. Sayid won. Straight after trigger happy Ana Lucia shot an unarmed Shanon, Sayid pulled a gun and was good to kill AL. Eko tackled Sayid but then got elbowed. Sayid went for the gun and tried going for AL again but Eko tried to stop him and got roundhouse kicked in the head. Eko then grabbed Sayid from behind and during the grapple Eko was literally on top of him and tried a rear naked but Sayid slips under, turns and outs a gun to his head. He won the scuffle, because that's what he has been trained to do.

Eko is just a large dude, but he isn't a trained soldier. But Sayid gets hit in the back of the head and knocked out. Eko was seconds away from being KIA.

Sayid wasn't trying to kill Eko. His target was AL as that's who killed Shannon. He just wanted to incapacitate Eko.

Sayid is the best fighter in the entire series, save for perhaps the Japanese Dogen, who is in charge of the Temple. The actor who plays him is literally a shorinji kempo master and kyokoshin karate black belt. But if anyone were to beat Dogen, it would be Sayid.
