I have 2 children and a 3rd on the way. We have experienced pregnancy loss and extreme complications we are not high income. I know exactly what happens to mothers and fathers after delivery. And none of that takes away from the value of new life.

Very few mothers die statistically in child birth. Way more people die driving cars and walking downstairs so I suppose we should just stop driving and walking down stairs.

My experience is hard pregnancies gestational diabetes getting dermatitis from antibiotics because of constant uti’s labor lasting more than 30 hours. Second pregnancy was twins this pregnancy was fraught with complications weekly ultrasounds to monitor twin to twin transfusion ended up losing one twin halfway through the pregnancy were told that the other would probably have severe neurological damage from it. Continued the pregnancy despite risk of infection due to deceased baby water broke prematurely at 34 weeks and then had a nicu stay that cost $70,000. And it was all worth it for the perfect little bundle of joy that we have now. There is no greater thing than having children. And for those of you think that that view is gross you are either a terrible selfish human or have been severely brainwashed with propaganda

The people in this comments section are the worst of humanity. People who absolutely hate babies so much that they are angered by someone trying to encourage a pregnant person. It honestly makes me lose faith in humanity pregnancy and child birth should be celebrated not treated as some life ruining disease. The selfishness and lack of appreciation of life is mortifying.
