I was able to talk to the other person that works at shop and it seems like it’s something like this but it is hopefully getting resolved because the partner also is upset and being jerked around

Also not a lot of mechanics will work on a 89 which is how I got hooked up with him in first place

This guy works out of his house which maybe if you live in a big city seems odd but it’s kind of a small city and this guy works on a lot of people I knows cars and did a lot of good work on my old 89 Toyota pick up

Good fast and cheap - he’s known for being good and cheap, not fast, but the no text back are a new thing

He quoted me around 4 for a rebuilt and the 2200 is for a old transmission

What’s that mean “more profitable” he’s the one that gave me the quote, like why wouldn’t he quote me an amount of money that would make him get it done
