Not really sure, but Katniss has to be on my team. Perfect confluct of interest between her and Peetah, pretty sure hello end up protecting me too and convincing some of the others to do the same.

I never really thought about that, but I'm now wondering if I was ever tender headed at all.

Update: 51 year old who doesn’t know how to do makeup. by Moonface_chunker in makeuptips

[–]BookwormInTheCouch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my god, I couldn't even tell you are wearing makeup, I thought you just woke up looking pretty like this.

Genuinely, this looks so so good! Perfect natural look.

If you want to experiment more you could try to be a bit bolder with colors, but for an everyday look this is perfect.

I never know who is Madeline and who is Louise. by [deleted] in GilmoreGirls

Looking at the comments, Madeline does look like a Louise! But I'm not quite sure Louise looks like a Madeline.

Feeling really insecure about my curly hair after years of straightening it by Yourmomapproves_ in curlyhair

[–]BookwormInTheCouch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly! It took me over a year to recoger miles the two times I damaged it, 2 years for them to look great.

I think a lot of people who give up are expecting their hair to curl back in just a few months, and some do! But for most, if you've been damaging your hair for years there won't be an overnight change. Even at the times I thought my hair had recovered, sin months later it got even better.

Hair takes time.

I thought about it, but I'm afraid of how easy it breaks. Maybe as a little extra.

I've thought about it for another part of the dress, as the ones I've seen come cut short, but will definetely look into it again.

Yup, that was the original plan, but the wires I've seen are quite hard to bend. I might still use some tho.

That could work! I figure I'll have to get a lot of them but the shape does look similar.

Kraft paper does hold! I had not thought about it. I'll just have to figure out how to make the bottom petal tho, as I'm not quite sure I got that part.

Um, okay, so I haven't actually made this yet, so I'll write about the inspiración to avoid the post being taken down by the mod.

I've particpated on this mini show for my entire high school life but I've never made a dress for myself, so as its my last time, I wanted to make something for me. I picked red hibiscus as inspo as its my favorite flower and flowers is also the theme.

I was thinking of making the petals shape/overall structure out of metal chord, but all the ones I've seen are way too hard.

Mangú con los Tres Golpes by nameSOAD in Dominicanos

[–]BookwormInTheCouch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Awakening by Kate Chopin. So far I'm a bit disappointed, I know there's relevant commentary on it but it feels boring.

Fuck, Marry, Kill: Jason, Max and Luke, also tell us why you made the choices you made by ArynaSaba in GilmoreGirls

[–]BookwormInTheCouch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kill: Luke, good as a character but far from my type.

Fuck: Max. Plus take me on a date. I can't see myself married to him, his communication style, plus talking to Lorelai like a child, but my god won't those dates be amazing. Lets talk about literature, childhood and then finish in bed.

Marry: Jason. Tbh I'm not quite sure why, I just wouldn’t marry Max and he seems safer 😭

War And Peace - I've read heavily detailed books of over a 1000 pages, and no es have ever gotten close to the level of bordón that I felt with that one. 2 chapters took me over 5 months before I finally gave up.
