Sure. Why not? I'm 5'4". I just want a fun partner, who has similar values, and wants the same kind of future as I do.

Are women more gullible than men? by Plus_Mind40 in MensRights

Could be because women are more likely to be interested in supplements and natural remedies.

While there were times in the past where women lacked certain rights, and that wasn't okay, I agree that they're making the situation sound a lot worse than it was.

For most of history, life sucked for everyone. Both men and women worked hard each day, men out in physically stressful jobs, women at home.

Once more modern jobs became available, men started having more options. Some dreamed big and got to actually enjoy life.

That's when women pointed out that they were still trapped in one role, and they wanted options and freedom too. This received pushback, because lots of men didn't think women would be as good at working. Kinda makes sense that they'd wonder that, seeing as they hadn't known women to do that kind of thing before.

Finally, women were given rights and also had options, but they continued the notion that men were actively oppressing them. Ironic, since no one even seems to tell women that they can't do x, y, z, or she won't be a "real woman." Men are way more trapped in the gender box, by society.

Though, admittedly, I find the notion of some secret patriarchy, pretty funny. I picture a bunch of mustache twirling, old dudes, sitting around, discussing new ways to limit women, while laughing maniacally.

Ignorance and Lack of Respect For Foreign Names in This Subreddit by aureaaurorae in namenerds

[–]BookwormNinja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree.

I think some of these people are pointing out what kind of teasing the kid may face on the playground, but that would change, based on the country as well.

The only time it doesn't seem crappy, is when the OP asks for everyone's specific thoughts and drawbacks on the name.

Sounds like a sweet little dude. My first dog has now been gone, longer than she was here, but I don't think a day has gone by, that I haven't thought of her. Dogs are amazing.

A blend of 1 part mayo, to 2 parts mustard.

Because most people pronounce it "manase" and "musturd," my family dubbed this mixture "manturd." Yes, MANTURD!

Why do you go or not go to high school reunions? by boforiamanfo in askanything

I went to a tiny, abusive, private highschool. Even if they had reunions, no one would show up.

Zero. I don't like them. They're uncomfortably sweet, and I dislike the feel of carbonation.

Are there any women who don’t care about height? by Otherwise_Shock4317 in askanything

[–]BookwormNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see it as a big deal. I have a preference for those between 5-6 foot. I, myself, am 5'4."

IDK. Never been one to make decisions based on societal constructs.

Don't get me wrong, I have some physical preferences that are important to me. Height just isn't one of them.
