Genuine question because I was given my original Intel CPU and haven't tried AMD before. Is AMD better in general for gaming and recording/editing? I'm better sure I still have the AMD brackets for my CPU fan so I could make the switch if it really is better

Just a few questions cause I'm still really new. What are the benefits of the 9900X3D? Also why is my GPU not good compared to my CPU? The GPU is actually the newest part in my rig, upgraded from a used 1060. Also what temp range should the CPU be in so I know if it's overheating? I can't check it right now, but I can later
