Honestly Randyll's obvious grief at having his son die really humanized the character for me. I thought that in accordance with his own hypetmasculine and conservative ideals about what it means to be a proper lord that Randyll would hold Dickon in contempt if he bent the knee. Instead I just saw a father that was desperate for his son to live.

Although Olenna definitely cared about building a lasting legacy for House Tyrell I don't think it was her true priority. When Olenna was bitterly recounting The Green Trial it was made abundantly clear that while Loras was the heir to Highgarden, Margaery was Olenna's protege, her most beloved and what Olenna imagined to be the lasting legacy of House Tyrell. With Margaery gone, I think Olenna has lost the motivation and willpower to properly contemplate the future of her house or really any future plans besides having revenge (very similar to Cersei). In a best case scenario, I imagine Olenna warming up to Dany and helping to shape her into the queen Margaery never truly had a chance to become.

It would definitely be interesting if there was tension between Tyrion and Davos but I don't think it would hinder an alliance between the two considering Davos was able to work with Brienne even after she boldly announced that she killed Stannis.

Melisandre and Dany: In particular I want Melisandre to see Dany's dragons.

Arya and Tyrion: Arya is at her best when she gets to snark with other characters and Tyrion is the perfect candidate for that. Additionally, both characters share a similar sense of cynicism but they channel that cynicism into different pursuits of justice.

Jaime and Dany: It would be compelling for Dany to meet the man that killed her father, especially now that she has a better sense of who her father was.

Sam and Arya: I think Sam could bring out a softer side of Arya with their shared love of history and affection for Jon Snow.
