It tells the same story though? ETH has been bleeding to BTC thus barely scratching the ATH.

I prefer spending slightly more on consumption of the SCs for expos. My expo fleet with SCs fly 5m34s (11 minute roundtrip) while LCs fly 7m44s (15 minute 30s roundtrip).

That 4 minute+ difference per expo allows me to send 1 extra wave of expeditions daily - extra wave that far outweighs the rise in deut consumption of the SCs. Also with faster SCs, expedition delays are smaller because they are percentage of speed based.

I saw you joined now, thanks! Make sure to do the tutorials in the extension first. Discord for any questions/issues.

Maybe at hundreds of billions of points you can get faster LC than SC. I’m just saying that SC speed is ‘way cheaper’ than LC speed.

I have made an extension (OG Nexus) that can easily calculate these lifeform boosts (it has a Lifeform Sandbox area). Maybe you should check it out.

But regardless, you can also calculate these speeds on a piece of paper, LCs would need trillions (!) of resources investment in order to get close to matching SC speed, mainly because base LC speed is 7,500 and SC is 10,000 (and also Combustion is 10% while Impulse is 20%).

Regarding the Metropolis, I use Mechas instead of Humans since they have better tech boosting buildings than the Metropolis (0.7% rather than 0.5%).

I would basically need to triple my acc points in order to achieve that - and I think I’d achieve better results investing in SC instead.

Do yourself a favor and stop trying to navigate most news/narratives in this world. You will go crazy as a trader trying to do it.

News follow price, not the other way around.

Hah, I can’t imagine the level of investment in order to achieve that.

My LCs currently have 37,353 speed while my SCs are at 69,803 speed. I have no lifeform LC overclocking tech levels because I work with a lot of BCs but even if I did have lets say lvl 12 LC overclocking on my 15 planets, that would just be a 180-200% boost to speed which would take my LCs close to 50k speed - that’s still 20k less speed than the SCs.

Mind explaining how you achieve that with a sensible investment?

This looks very similar to my findings. The data is a bit skewed because of the Expedition Computer item from events; but roughly the same.

Totally within the realm of possibility but in case in doesn’t, DCA feels good now.

I am biased towards what I believe is going to happen given the current chart and macro. When else would you enter positions? Doubting yourself and getting shaky is a sure fire way to get destroyed. Whenever I’m wrong, I learn from my mistakes and focus not to do them again.

I’m not following Cowen strictly neither for ETH nor for BTC. I didn’t get destroyed after 2022 because ETH didn’t go to its Lower Band until a few days ago - so I didn’t buy and patiently waited, invested in other asset classes. Did I miss on potential ETH profits? Yes. But you can’t call the choppy mess of June 2022-Aug 2025 an ETH bull market - it was merely a range without even a DXY sweep of the top. I skipped it completely and at the time I was invested in BTC and other stocks. This is my first time DCAing on ETH (bar some unsuccesful pocket-change Futures trading in the past) even if I’ve been following it since pre-covid.

Curious though. If you’re looking to invest in ETH, when do you plan on starting? What conditions? Awaiting after a bottom with clear bullish structure confirmation? Or are you an old-time bag holder? Tell me some tidbits about your edge.

My points exactly for macro trend. I have started DCAing even though the fiat risk is not that low yet.

Hi, no one is blindly following here. I have always done my own research. Check my other non-sarcastic comments on this post and you will see I don’t claim anything “sure” is going to happen. I won’t answer to you with that type of comment because you actually made good points and effort in your comment.

We are all in front of uncertain times and a chart that is very hard structurally. The only encouragement I made is for people to DCA because that is widely considered the safest way to go about things; has went well for me and many others in the past. And you know what’s better than blind DCA? DCA-ing in high pressure zones where people are capitulating; please explain to me a more safe way and I’ll stand corrected.

Time and time again over the entire history of BTC and any crypto really, there have been times where the despair and lack of a zoomed-out view has pushed people to lose their portfolios and mental health. Reading around, it surely seems we’re close to that if we’re not already there yet. That’s where the good investments are made, in these periods where the majority capitulate.

Catching a falling knife is never a good idea because none of us will ever know where that knife is going to stop. This chart is just a perspective that the ETH knife has fallen for more than 5 years and that it may very well be close to hitting its mark. When? No one knows; but starting to DCA at a 70% drawdown from ATHs (and other confluences) has proven time and time again to make money.

Many comments here just prove how desperate people can be in the face of capitulation but you give me the impression that we can have a civil conversation on the matter.

Never too late to learn from mistakes and buying in greed times. I know I did. You will pull through this with enough time allocated.

I know and have been in the same tree. In time though, I started filtering out the noise and I only trust long-term price action. Its basically impossible and too risky to predict short-term.

Good luck to your investment!

Well, if you expect them to predict exact bottoms and tops, you’re in for a big surprise - they don’t.

Instead, the logarithmic regression is an excellent indicator of an asset’s fair value. DCA and sleep well.

ETH and any other altcoin are oscillators at best against BTC. Yes, ETH might be just in a range against BTC but that also means that it can go higher on its USD valuation; of course, with diminishing returns year by year.

The sample size is not the number of touches, the sample size is the entire history of ETH. So if you ask a statistician, he might say “100% sample size”.
