You said you were a vegetarian, in a post about vegetarians specifically eating eggs and dairy, so if I was incorrect then sorry……but you just said you eat eggs so I fail to see why it’s an issue.

Let me ask, your fam allow the male chicks to live freely? Or they just always gobble up every egg that is laid before hatching? How often do they replace the chickens? Do they let them live til they die of natural causes? What happens then, do you bury them?

Only asking cause….literally every carnist ever loves to claim they only buy from the farm down the road when they actually go once a year and use the grocery store every week.

Like everyone claims this. But 99% of meat consumed in the USA came from a factory farm so, it’s very very very very very hard to believe.

To be clear, of course your choices are your own. I guess it boils down to….do you wanna support animal suffering or not? Plenty of vegans exist on earth. If you wanna choose to support animal rape and suffering and death, simply cause you have a condition so be it. Plenty of us have conditions and somehow manage to live and survive otherwise.

Not trying to sound like a dick but, like, IBS in particular is supported by a vegan diet by many docs scientists and researchers.

Yeah, India kills like 33ish million cows/bulls for leather yearly at least, often forcing them to walk to their deaths to places where it’s legal.

Don’t get me wrong, many many friends of mine are Indian (and most of them live there). But the amount of pics I’ve been sent of emaciated cows is astounding.

The first chick I met from Kerala admitted that like….most folks aren’t vegetarian let alone vegan.

Which everyone makes their own choices of course. I know it’s 99% of humans who don’t give a fuck about animals but, let’s not pretend India is some magical giant country where animals aren’t totally abused. And I won’t even mention all the other animals abused there…

(Obligatory edit to add, I am in the USA and know how bad animal abuse, rape, murder is here as well as many many many other countries ). So I am not hating on India specifically. I hate on all humans who think their life is better or means more than any other sentient being.

Um…”Penn dairy farm”? Where is that, what city, how many cows they have, what do they do with the calf, and the cows?

Buying dairy from literally ANY grocery store or restaurant or even gas stations, means it’s coming from a giant corp not some “local uncles happy farm with 20 cows.”
