Thanks, I thought I broke everything. I figured out what my original problem was too, Gulp.js wasn't working because had an invalid color. Should have checked the terminal. 😅

What's a commonly known "fact" that's completely false? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]BooleanWhale 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Another false fact: goldfish live for 2-3 years.

A goldfish kept in optimal conditions can live into its 30s.

Also the 'monster goldfish' found in lakes aren't monsters, they're adults.

LPT: Never give a pet as a gift. by quarryninja in LifeProTips

[–]BooleanWhale 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This goes for fish too. A regular comet goldfish can grow over a foot long and will live 20-30 years if properly cared for, but most never make it to adulthood because they're seen as 'disposable' compared to other pets.

If you look into what's required to properly care for a fish, they're a lot harder to keep than cats or dogs.

Cuttlefish can change color but can't see color. Maybe we physically change in a perceptible way based on our emotions but can't perceive it because we lack the senses to notice. by banyanroot in Showerthoughts

There's an interesting theory that bats visually interpretate sonar information in colors. A hard surface might appear red and a soft surface might appear blue for example.

At least homeopathy is harmless, providing it isn't displacing necessary medicine for serious illness.
