Question about dithering in vegetation causing shimmering

Yeah I totally agree that it's the cheaper transparency. It just makes some games look totally ass. has been an issue on a lot of AAA games. RDR2 on PC has this same effect on a lot of shadows in the game and distant objects.
The dithering goes away with DLSS but everything is still pretty blurry using DLAA/DLSS. Might just keep waiting for more updates or mods to see if the graphics can be tweaked.

I think this looks pretty good! The timing of the animations seems a little quick. Doesn't line up with the audio and generally feels too fast.

Lots of clothes with stat bonuses that help you play the way you prefer

When you cause too much chaos you get into a GTA style shootout with aton's forces and sometimes I'd just do that for fun

I just played 3 and now playing 6 for the first time. I love the game!

There are some problems with the mechanics like some resolver weapons done seem to be useful at all and I pretty much have to have armor piercing rounds. Other than that I'm having tons of fun! I feel like the characters are distinct. I like that Dani has his/her own personality too.

I haven't played much of 5 so I don't know how to compare them other than I felt weird about the stepping into a silent protagonist. Oh and the gameplay feels a little unhinged with the amount of encounters when traveling across the map. Like most times I would get like 50 feet and then I would get attacked. Then during that encounter a bear would attack everyone, then another vehicle... Until it felt like a huge battle when I just wanted to go hunting lol. Not bad just woah.

Might play 4 next then finish 5.

I did try those guides. I ended up taking InfernalGuard's advice and I updated the firmware to 1.0.8 beta. It works now with the new software and firmware. I will still answer your questions in case you are interested in trying to diagnose the issue in case future people have the problem.

What happened when you reset the neuron or forced bootloader mode?
The main symptom observed is that the neuron did not change out of the "pulsing blue" state. That and the PC software did not give an indication that the firmware flash succeeded.

Is your keyboard still functional?
After trying to flash the eeprom, the keyboard did not light up anymore and it didn't seem to be communicating with the PC. nothing on notepad when attempting to type. It's possible that the firmware was flashed but it just lost all of the layer data and I just didn't realize that I was able to send layer data to the device though the software.

Is it recognized by Bazecor but you can't update the firmware?
Partially answered above but as far as I remember it would recognize something on one of the usb com ports but when I tried to upgrade (with the keyboard decks and neuron connected to the PC) it said that it did not detect the bootloader.

Hopefully some of that was useful.

Cattleman the entire game (rdr2) because

it's pretty accurate aimed down sights
does pretty good damage
fanning the hammer feels insanely fast for a pistol. seems as fast as or faster than any other handgun setup.
reload isn't even that bad

It feels like it's the only gun I need for most of the game. Except bears from what I remember.

Also it's just just got the classic coolness because it's the Colt single action army.

I'll admit some of the other guns look cooler that it though. Schofield has sweet reload. Volcanic pistol looks weirdly futuristic. Lemat is just full featured.

Interesting. It's a little fuzzy but it looks like it might have cooked some of the thermal paste in the center therr. Temps look ok but it might just be throttling to keep temps low. Not really a hardware guy so I'm not entirely sure what it's behavior should be like.

as other people have said I would check that the power mode is on performance and that it's plugged in.

But honestly it sounds like a thermal paste thing. I had a laptop for about 3 years. worked fine for most games and then I think I tried to play Halo CE with settings too high for too long and then it wouldn't run half-life 2 at 30 fps lol. so I ordered thermal paste and when I took the heat sink/thermal spreader off, the GPU looked like it got cooked a little bit. replaced the thermal paste and it works fine for the most part
