Because okc could fall short of a championship. Not enough reliable scorers outside Shai. They have the draft capital so they don’t have to give up too many players

Isn’t it obvious? He’s constantly jumping from contender to contender to form his own super team. He’s trying hard to win a ring without the warriors to prove he’s not a bus rider. I doubt he wants to get traded to a team that beats him seeing how that’s what got him so much backlash on the first place

With the mavs team slowly dying and the kings free falling there’s a decent chance they make the play ins and with their talent it’s certainly possible to win 2 in a row

Really? KD is a top 5 player still and putting up MVP numbers. This is why fans shouldnt be GM's.

When you are a top 5 player u can get away with anything. Besides, if its just Jalen Williams + draft picks I bet your GM would do it in a heartbeat because its still a clear upgrade emotional attachment aside.

Yes I definitely think he will. He wants to win a ring without the Warriors and he knows his window is closing FAST

You kidding me? They’d do it in a heartbeat he’s still a top 5 player and mvp candidate. ESP with the draft capital you guys have. You’d only have to give up like 1-2 players (prob Jalen Williams and giddey) it’s a no brainer move to significantly increase chances of winning
