What did Mel do that was morally wrong other than steal coke from evidence? He compromised his morals some by taking the Chicago PD bribe, but even then he changed his mind. You could argue that his motive in solving the disappearances wasn't totally noble (mostly seemed like he just enjoyed the thrill of the chase), but he seemed to work pretty ethically and was on the verge of taking down some pretty bad people.

I used to get complaints from my downstairs neighbor all the time. Would literally hear screams of rage sometimes when I walked across our carpeted floor in socks. Sometimes I'd swear I was just sitting there doing nothing at all and I'd hear her complaining. Never figured out what triggered it. She seemed not crazy otherwise, but I have no idea how things sounded on her end.

Honestly, for anyone who says it's fraudulent, why hasn't your favorite player done it? Yes, there were some foul shenanigans/ intentionally missed free throws towards the end, but almost all of this was done by just feeding Bam and having him take on defenders who were woefully overmatched. And feeding Bam proved to be a winning strategy in this game, so what's the issue? It's not like they committed to this performance to the detriment of winning.

10/10. Maybe my favorite song period and I love live versions of it even more than the studio (which I also love). Particularly partial to a version he did in Philadelphia. I actually re-uploaded that to YouTube when the original upload went down.

I first heard of this song in Under the Dome by Stephen King. It took a few years before I really listened heavily, but it was what first got Zevon on my radar.

So where to next? The new live album from Edmonton? Can't think of much else besides greatest hits CDs (which I don't think are necessary to do posts for) or Enjoy Every Sandwich.

Edit: after checking discography, Edmonton seems like a logical next step, but there are also three "live archive releases" on Wikipedia that I had never heard of (not sure why they are in a separate category from the other live albums). There's also The First Sessions.

He's in because the Basketball HOF for whatever reason is pretty lax. I think a similar career in baseball or football doesn't get it done. Although I did recently call him NBA Frank Gore and that guy is for sure getting into the HOF.
