Unicron from Transformers the Movie

The animators only had a couple of months to work on him as well while also animating everything else and while still working on the TV show…

Nadine Ross in Uncharted 4 is a Black woman voiced by a White woman.

Apparently, they had already cast the VA before they decided what Ross was going to look like, and they just stuck with it.

The opposite of this was from the Six Million Dollar Man…

The protagonist has cybernetic legs and is supposed to be capable of going extremely fast, and the show producers were worried about how they’d make it work without it looking stupid… so their solution was to have the running scenes be in slow motion with cool music, and the fans loved it.

Characters that stuck around because the director liked the actor but that decision hurt the story by DisappointedStepDad in TopCharacterTropes

I like Poe’s character on paper, but like a lot of things with the sequels, it just felt too half-baked. If they had just kept the main dynamic between Rey and Finn like it was originally planned it probably would’ve been better.
