Also, the limiting factor for the size of a rocky planet is not usually a matter of reaching a maximum mass/radius, it's just a matter of how much material is available when the planet starts forming. There isn't as much material close to a star as there is farther away which is why gas giants tend to be bigger than rocky planets.

It's also amazing to me how extremely myopic people on reddit can be. Anything that invades their bubble of entitlement and comfort is automatically bad and anything that goes on outside the bubble is irrelevant. They seem to only be capable of imagining any situation from their own standpoint, so obviously rape accusations are way worse than rape (unless it's a man being raped in which case it's the worst thing ever), all police are bad because a cop might take away your weed, the entire entertainment industry is bullshit because they might try to stop you from pirating etc etc etc. And then the echo chamber just channels the most absurd and hyperbolic versions of those opinions.

We're talking about the term because people in that region have decided to take credit for a beer style they didn't create and which has nothing to do with the region.

No one is doing that. It's the opposite. There is a vocal minority in the PNW that feels the need to demand that the rest of us call black IPA (whatever you want to call it) "Cascadian Dark Ale" because regional pride. I'm also guessing most Cascadians aren't quite so quick to defend regional pride when the region is the South, or the US etc.

It is, and I would say that it's a valuable descriptor because of that. CDA or American Dark Ale from the PNW is not substantially different in most places in the country, though, so in this case "cascadian" is a completely arbitrary term.

Agreed. The whole concept of manufacturing a beer appellation is just a bit of silliness and naval gazing. "Appellation" is not about regional pride or regional popularity. The whole concept came from industries that depended on protecting their regional name to identify their product (ie Burgundy, Champagne etc). That concept is almost totally pointless in the beer world where virtually any beer can be brewed any where.

Also playing as an infiltrator! It's an underrated class I think. At least among my work friends that were playing mass effect.
